The first thing I would say about your situation is to carefully examine whether you are just trying to ignore negative feelings and think ‘happy thoughts’ or you are actually thinking and focusing in a way that makes you FEEL better. <>I was led back to ‘The Secret’ from an interview I read. Having read it before it made more sense this time about how to really believe and be grateful. I received a surprise check the following day which helped me to begin a project and have seen another financial boost since. <>Long before the well known Oprah-appraised movie/book The Secret came out… a book by Napoleon Hill titled Think and Grow Rich uncovered the mystical and coveted concept of the Law of Attraction. I remember reading this book when I was a teenager as it proclaimed I could quite literally create the life of my dreams. This concept was very sexy to me and profoundly shaped my ideas about what was possible as I was launched into adulthood.

<>A wish box is an interesting approach. I had done something similar years ago. I created a box, colored it pink and then put in it all the words and a picture of a person I wanted to meet. I put the box away and didn’t think about it much. About six months or so later, I met a guy that looked so similar to the one I wanted to meet, it was scary! A bell definitely went off.
<>The Law of Attraction is the most powerful law in the universe. Just like gravity, it is always in effect, always in motion. It is working in your life at this very moment. You are always in a state of creation. You are creating your reality in every moment of every day. You are creating your future with every single thought: either consciously or subconsciously. You can’t take a break from it and decide not to create because creation never stops.
<>You can use a specific date if you want. I usually caution people not to use specific dates because it causes a problem for most people. They become fixated on the date and, as the date approaches, they begin to start blocking themselves from receiving what they want. So, if you really want to improve your financial situation as quickly and painlessly as possible, you need to start shifting your belief that money trouble is the worst thing that can happen to you, that some horrible fate will befall you if get behind on your payments.

<>We already know that the Law of Attraction can be used effectively… and the positive impact that embracing the law and replacing all negative emotions with positive mind-affirmations can have on what you see in your life. However, there are several common traps that people can fall into when they are trying to apply the rules of attraction to their love lives.
<>I am in a situation where the man I just got back into my life (applying the LOA) is saying he just wants to be friends. I don’t understand why because when we are together things are great. When we first got back cool after a nasty seperation, he was reaching out to me constantly. Then I told him I wanted to spend more time with him and it seems after I said that, things went sour and he jumped from wanting to be around me to saying nothing is there anymore and he just wants to be friends. <>You can do this yourself. You can become someone who purposefully creates ripples in the universe. Did you know, everything you do energetically ripples out and affects others? And the ripples then come back to you. This process is fast. Don’t underestimate how possible it is for you to be a true catalyst for change. You can be a magnet for all the positive ripples floating around out there. Like a radio station, you can tune into the good stuff. Starting right now.
<>Step Three: Stand in the center of your space and close your eyes with your hand out, palms facing each other as if holding a ball of light. Visualize the light growing in between your hands. Fill this ball of light with your intention. One way to do this is to recite your affirmation into the ball of light and feel your affirmation growing in power and intensity.

<>Maybe you have tons of bills to pay, and you don’t know how you’re going to come up with the money. Therefore, you walk around thinking about how you don’t have enough money and what’s going to happen to you if you don’t get the money. This thinking fuels an uncomfortable feeling state that attracts more debt instead of your intention to attract more money.
<>Imagine that scene where your ideal world and this world overlap – that park for example. Imagine that you’re there, but in the ideal world – you know everything that is in that park, every bench, every path, every tree, but you also know that everything else is just as you want it to be, although you don’t see it. You’re just there, in the park that you know, and the world is a great place. Stay in the park for as long as you need to fully embrace the feeling that the world outside of it is made by your desire.
<>Ever notice how travel magazines show a beautiful destination, maybe a white sand beach and azure blue sky? And, there is always a table and empty chair. Your mind is attracted to the empty chair. It wants you to be there. Goals are the same. The law of attraction is energised by the gap between here and there. So long as it is bridgeable (see tip 21).
<>You don’t have to go out on dates with people you’re not interested in, nor try to do something that goes against your own values. Notice what things or people you are consciously or unconsciously drawn to.  You might be lead into amazing, rewarding, or at the very least a growing experience! Be willing to trust that inner voice and be open to the mystery that comes from there.
<>The Law of Attraction is among the most popular of the Universal Laws.[3] Advocates of this mind-power paradigm generally combine cognitive reframing techniques with affirmations and creative visualization to replace limiting or self-destructive ("negative") thoughts with more empowered, adaptive ("positive") thoughts. A key component of the philosophy is that in order to effectively change one's negative thinking patterns, one must also "feel" (through creative visualization) that the desired changes have already occurred. This combination of positive thought and positive emotion is believed to allow one to attract positive experiences and opportunities by achieving resonance with the proposed energetic law.[4]
<>1) The Soulmate List. The first list is a list of ‘Green Light’ qualities and attributes that you’d like your soulmate to have.  In other words, this is what you want to “get” in a Soulmate.   In this list, you’ll describe all of the physical and non-physical characteristics you envision your soulmate to have. Here you want to include things that will begin to describe the kind of man or woman who would really make your heart sing.
<>“My friend had found the love of her life not by meeting someone new- but from someone who was already in her life. It reminded me of something I read in a magazine article you’d written- about Cinderella and how that so much of her ‘good’ was already in her life: The pumpkin that became a carriage, the rags that became a ballgown etc.- and that there was no need to ‘go hunting’ for what you want as so much good is here, waiting to be revealed. From observing my friend, it was exactly like that: As she came into her connection, she realised the love of her life was already a good friend in her current experience. She had never seen him in that way before- but in the twinkling of an eye- she saw him in a new, romantic way. And he felt the same. And now they are married and one of the happiest couples I know.
<>The major dilemma with the LOA is: did I attract this or did I feel it coming? In your story I only see intuition, no attraction: you were in an unsatisfying relationship and deep inside you were feeling it would end sooner or later. You met someone at the right time for both of you and you are both attracted to each other. To put this to the test, start imagining every evening that Gisele Bundchen will fall in love with you and you will see that you won’t attract her just because you are not meant to be together. Getting my point?
<>Living “as if” can be a powerful way to help yourself to manifest love. What this means is that you should try to live every day not as though you’re looking for love but as though you’ve already found it! Embrace self-love and dress as you would if you were spending time with your partner. Try to make space for them in your home. See yourself as a person with a loving soulmate and a bright future, and make plans accordingly.
