<>During Thanksgiving of 1992, Carrey wrote himself a check for $10 million for ‘Acting Services Rendered’ and he dated it for Thanksgiving of 1995. He carried that check around with him no matter what he did, and it deteriorated away in his wallet. But just before Thanksgiving of 1995 he received word that he would be paid $10 million for ‘Dumb and Dumber.’
<>So glad you enjoyed the article. You are certainly not along in having trouble with money manifesting. Lots of deep programming to work through and it actually goes a lot deeper than just money stuff. The most important thing to remember is by focusing your energy on the things you want the money for…travel, certain experiences, whatever, and if money is part of the equation of getting it, it will come in. And do whatever you can to feel abundant now, no matter how small the thing is…all you need is a bit more positive energy to start allowing in a different experience.
<>I’ve been broke before – and I mean REALLY broke. My lowest point was when I just had around 70 cents (yes, cents) in my purse in order to feed my children for a couple of days. I remember walking around the supermarket wondering how the hell I would make it to the next welfare pay day. I purchased a no-name bag of plain pasta and the kids could eat it for dinner and lunch with some tomato sauce I had in the cupboard. The pain was so embarrassing that I struck a deal with the Universe that I would never allow myself to go there again.
<>2) De-Cluttering your Mind. De-Cluttering your Mind means exactly that.  It means letting go or releasing any fears or beliefs you have about love that are keeping love away from you.  For example, many people believe they have some kind of fatal flaw or secret that may repulse others.  For women, it normally is something physical, and for men, it is normally something in their financial situation or career. These insecurities will lead you to have thoughts such as:
<>Be sure to start this list by stating whether if your Soulmate is single, straight/gay (yes, you must be that specific) and available for a healthy, loving, committed, long-term relationship (or marriage if that is what you want.) Also, be sure to include that he or she lives close enough to you, and/or is willing to relocate if necessary for the two of you to be together. It is very important that you do not get too attached to this list, but rather release it by saying to yourself, “I welcome this, or something better!”
<>Your thoughts and actions create a result. Everything you think, say, and do will have an effect. Every action generates a force of energy that returns to it in kind and that energy continues to flow back and forth. If you don’t have a clear understanding that this is how things are, then the Law of Attraction makes your reality seem like the world is bleak because you don’t understand how you are attracting the very thing you wish to get away from. You just do your best to keep thinking happy thoughts in the hopes that something good will eventually occur.
<>This type of thing happens because we showed up, desperate, and without clarity about what we really wanted. The same applies to manifesting your Soulmate.  You already know what you DON’T want.  So let’s put the main focus on putting together a list of what you DO WANT that is in alignment with your core values and expresses what you want to experience and share in your new relationship.
<>“For his birthday my husband wanted to see a wild tiger in the Indian jungle. I had always known that these magnificent animals were elusive in nature, but once we saw the sullen faces of those returning to camp and we heard the stories from a family who had been to this area for their seventh time without a sighting and the couple whose family had not seen a wild tiger for three generations, my heart sank. It was halfway through our fourth day of a five day safari and I thought it was time to turn to the universe for a little help: “Wouldn’t it be nice to have a great sighting of this magnificent creature in the wild jungle of India?” I felt at that point that it was completely out of my control and so I let go and just appreciated my surroundings. As we were sitting in the jeep surrounded by tall grass I turned to my husband and carelessly said “this would be a perfect place for a tiger to come walking out of the grass”. Five minutes later we heard the alarm call of a spotted deer followed by the growl of a tiger which reverberated throughout our bodies. Our guide shot out of his seat with utter excitement and we held our breath. At the exact spot I had uttered those words a tiger came prowling through the tall grass without a care in the world. I turned to my husband and said “happy birthday darling”. I love having universal forces on my side!”
<>“After something I heard in the group, I realised that if I waited until I felt like Meditation or Appreciation- I probably would be waiting a very long time. I had read all the books but felt huge resistance to doing the exercises. I put on the Universe List something I heard Michael say several weeks in a row: ‘Inspire me to wake up early and full of energy and wanting to do my processes.’ I don’t know how it worked- but it worked. And now my morning ritual is almost as automatic as brushing my teeth or getting dressed. And yes, it seemed to happen overnight. Many months or even years of ‘thinking about’ doing it- and now I’m doing it. I feel like a different person and things are definitely starting to shift.”
<>Physical compatibility in a relationship need not always mean love. There are many versions of love, and romance and lust are two basic ones. True love includes commitment, trust, respect and contentment. If these things lack in a relationship, it is definitely not love. A lot of people justify physical violence with passion. Passion in a relationship is definitely a natural phenomenon, but there’s a thin line between being passionate and violent. If you find your partner being too harsh on you, both physically and emotionally, then it’s not love.
<>Hi Elizabeth, I’ve read your book (loved it!) and the “rules” for those of us who want to manifest an ex, seem a little more demanding and complex… What if your ex wants nothing to do with you, or appears not to want to? What if they are telling everyone they are moving on and happier without you and are going toward greener pastures and they are open to meeting someone new? Secondly, how does one visualize happiness when still hurting, and how does one visualize good things and “let it go” when the memory of the breakup is still recent and fresh. Any tips on how to switch off emotional pain and memories, and just concentrate on the good? I just feel that manifesting an ex back is a great deal more challenging (and yes it is him I really want) because of the history there which simply can’t be erased or forgotten….
<>Be sure to include in this group only positive, trustworthy people with whom you can share this journey, and who can hold your vision with you.  And, be sure to exclude any friends or family members who are skeptical, negative, sarcastic and who can actually bring you down.  That’s the last thing you need! If you feel that you’d like my support as your coach, consider booking a session with me so I can provide you with my professional guidance.
<>You are greater than what is going on around you. Your relationship with yourself is your most important relationship. What’s happened happened. It’s in the past and you can’t change it. It sucks, but it’s happened. You can still change what happens in the future. Focus on getting to a place where you feel better. The happier and more joyful you feel, the more positive results you will see.
<>The Twin Flame encounter serves a greater purpose for nothing happens by chance as the cosmos gives us someone to stay with in a soul partnership in a Divine Marriage and live happily ever after. Life is truly a magical mystery according to the Cosmic plan for out life. Cosmic connections are chosen by our soul in the spiritual realm with a distinct purpose in our lives. We dont meet anyone by accident. To find our ultimate place in the cosmos we must have our hearts and higher hearts open to the higher purpose of carrying out Divine Will for global evolution. Quoting Aristotle, “Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies”.
<>The union of all people is only a mechanism for perfecting the process of soul-consciousness. Therefore, the process of attracting a soulmate, as well as the process of keeping the soul you already live with, but are experiencing a crisis, depends on how much you accept communion as a school of awareness and learning, the transformation of oneself.
<>Why don’t you people apply LOA to find a better job, partner, home or something else which could happen at any day or time of the year rather than happening on just a perticular day in an year?? I am advising this to you because its a human tendency to think negetive when things don’t happen according to their wish and on the next xmas if you don’t go to LA then till next xmas for sure you’ll loose your belief and hope for it. If you want to train your brain then read THE MAGIC by Rhonda Byrne. There are 28 life changing practices which look quite stupid but if you follow them then after 28 days definately your brain will start thinking positive and you will feel full of gratitude.
<>“I find your audios give myself a rest from my sometimes whirlwind-of-a-mind. The vibration of the music really gets me in a good place. In my non-doing – which means less action and even less ‘working on myself’- I’ve met a man, found a new apartment and begun my new business – your work is the best! I started to really expand my appreciation list into small details, including reliving the best times of the week before, again and again. I don’t let compliments just lay there- I go over them again and again until they feel just how they felt the first time I was told them. As you said, going to a café is a good change of scenery to do the lists (especially as I work from home so it gives me a much needed break). My friend loved your talk Envision in Birmingham and I’m going to try to make it to the London one when you’re at the School of Intuition and Healing…”
<>But, after seeing The Secret in 2006, I started digging deeper in how to practice creating my reality with my mind. I started attending the School of Metaphysics, which is an excellent course of study in the powers of mind. Armed with some level of knowledge of the LoA, and what I’d learned and practiced at the School, I decided to facilitate a Law of Attraction book study group - where we studied and practiced exercises around Wallace Wattles’ Science of Getting Rich, and Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. I developed a manifestation practice where my Mexico dream was top. I imagined myself retired - relieved from the stress of selling real estate… in an area of Mexico that reportedly has the world’s second best climate… where I’d visited only briefly 10 years previous, but knew from that brief encounter that that little village was where I wanted to live in Mexico when I retired.
<>5) Start each day by turning your Heart Light on.  How can you do this? With a gratitude prayer for all that is happening in your life and for the deep knowing that your Soulmate is even now on his/her way to you.  Affirm that you are meeting in Divine and Perfect time, and know that while you wait patiently for their arrival in your life, both you and your Soulmate are growing, and wrapping up any unfinished business while the Universe engineers your connection.
<>I’ve read your book and followedour blog religiously-thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I have been intending to manifest a specifuc relationship with my ex. I was even inspired to randomly buy him a plane ticket to see me-however on the am of his flight he contacted me and said he didn’t feel comfortable coming—I was so positive and sure to that he would come. I visulized him coming and our relationship reignitung—–what happened? What did I do wrong?
<>I’ve been studying LoA for a few years now and have read countless books on the matter. To me, Napoleon Hill’s book was by far the best because it wasn’t just full of platitudes, it actually gave me some actionable items and did tell me that a certain amount of work was involved. This was important to me because I have a core belief (right or wrong) that you can’t get something for nothing. With that said, even with all the research I have done, and the belief that LoA exists, I have yet to experience any positive outcomes from using any of the techniques. Doing yet more research, I have come to the conclusion that there are two things that I am doing wrong, or more concisely, unable to achieve. The first being that I can not seem to attach a feeling to a desire. Try as I may, there remains some disconnect somewhere. Second, I have a lot of negative self talk and some negative core beliefs (both of which I am working to change… more research). I believe that these two things sabotage any attempt by me to manifest things. As I am practicing LoA, the little voice in my head (my Ego) will tell me that I am being foolish, or that “this doesn’t work”, etc. I tell it to shut up but it never does and introduces doubt every time. This actually brings up a third problem. Unwavering faith. You mentioned faith to get you back on track. Where do you find this? How do you develop it? Do you have any suggestions on any of these issues? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
<>That week I sold everything we owned on Craigslist and filed for divorce. I took the money I made from our belongings to pay for first and last month’s rent on a really tiny, super-shitty two-bedroom apartment. I had just enough left over for one more month of rent and a few groceries. That was all the money I had in the world: I didn’t even have a bank account. My sister convinced me to get on food stamps, just until I got on my feet, and though I cried when the case worker took my story, I knew I had no choice. I applied for every job I could find, but interviews were few and far between. When the second month came and my rent money was gone, I sold my wedding rings on Craigslist for a fraction of their value; enough for one more month’s rent. When the women came to pick up my rings, she looked around our little apartment at my twins running around in their diapers and said, “I don’t want to know. Please don’t tell me the story.” She didn’t want my “bad luck” giving her new wedding rings negative juju.
<>A wish box is an interesting approach. I had done something similar years ago. I created a box, colored it pink and then put in it all the words and a picture of a person I wanted to meet. I put the box away and didn’t think about it much. About six months or so later, I met a guy that looked so similar to the one I wanted to meet, it was scary! A bell definitely went off.
<>Other studies have indicated meditation may reduce the levels of cortisol, a hormone that in high levels can weaken the immune system and slow down healing. Results from a small study conducted in 1998 with patients suffering from psoriasis lesions indicated meditation can speed up the body’s natural healing process. Some studies have even suggested meditation can help in the prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease.
<>Hi JG – I’m glad you’re enjoying my book on attracting a specific person! Detachment will come with time. Don’t worry so much about whether you’re doing things right. The Law of Attraction isn’t about perfection. Also, as I discuss in the book, focus on doing things that make you happy. It’ll be far more effective than trying to cover the doubts up with affirmations.
<>One thing I found on a website is the fact that the LOA makes people believe that they are totally in charge of their life which is not true. You think you can do everything with the power of your mind. They forget God’s will and what I’ll add is that they forget the notion of destiny. You will get things when they are within the brackets of you destiny. You may want something badly and you’ll never get it, just because it was not written this way for you. That’s why you can get the small things because they don’t compromise the big lines of your life chart. And I can still go further after my explorations I will soon be able to say that you don’t really attract things, you feel you’ll get them. It’s just intuition.
<>Our current state of affairs, whether it is in the realm of love, money, or any other aspect of our life, is always serving us in some way. We are getting some benefit from how things are now, no matter how absurd that seems to your conscious mind. But, here’s the thing..the part of you calling the shots is your subconscious mind, and there are all sorts of crazy thoughts, and limiting beliefs, floating around there that sabotage you in countless ways.
<>“I was feeling so resentful about a situation and couldn’t see a way out of it. I had been to therapy every week for several years- sometimes twice a week- but I just kept coming back to the same subject which wouldn’t seem to go away. Then, a friend who I was talking to recommended your centre. I committed to the schedule- and slowly but surely, I have released this thought pattern and changed my beliefs. I started to feel solutions make themselves known to me rather than struggling to find them – It was more of a relaxation than a trying; as you said a ‘revealing’ rather than a ‘making things happen’. One more thing is the practices have made me look (and feel) more attractive and younger, which I wasn’t expecting. My skin looks great and friends have even asked what my secret is or what skincare range or cosmetic procedure I have had done. And I haven’t done any of that- it’s all through aligning my thoughts and letting go of past pain through your work.”
<>The Universe becomes a far more active partner in helping you create the life you desire when your intentions are specific. You don’t just want money fast; you want X amount of dollars fast or even more. Once I walked into a casino with only $1.00 in my pocket, having forgotten my wallet at home. Amazingly, I walked out of the casino with a sizeable sum of money. I set an intention that I wanted to turn that dollar into $20.00. I could have driven home to get my wallet, but I was already there and decided to invoke the power of the Law of Attraction. By the time the dust settled that day, I had won $2400! Remember, I started with only $1.00
<>Hey Phil, my friend Claire sent this over after seeing me last night for the first time in months. I have been obsessively working on a project / startup to use rock climbing and adventure to help at-risk kids in the slums of Brazil. Check out our video if you are interested (www.indiegogo.com/adventureforgood) but that project is really not the focus. What I found is that although I love what I am doing and believe in it completely, I have been stressed out of my mind and without realizing it, I have been manifesting this stress into all aspects of my life and sometimes into the energy of my campaign. Reading your blog I was reminded of how important it is to manifest not only what you want but also how you want to feel. That energy is so important and certainly dictates how people feel around you. I have been bringing my computer to bed and stressing out over emails until I fall asleep… NOT healthy. This post really helped me reflect on practicing not only the law of attraction but the law of ‘feeling good’. Hope to bump into you around Boulder Phil.
<>There is a process to it too. What really happens (this is my own break down of the law) is that once we focus on something we want; our mind starts to calculate how to get that desire met. Then we start to put those thoughts into actions, resulting in us achieving what we want without consciously calculating how to do it. When we couple our desires with conscious and strategic planning, we can achieve almost anything.
<>You have no idea the million different ways you can meet someone. Sure, it may be through the typical avenues, like a mutual friend or a blind date. Or, it could happen in the most unexpected, and craziest of ways—the type of situation that makes a great ‘how we met’ story. So, do your best to stop trying to figure out how you would meet this person. Don’t look at the current framework of your life as some sort of filter through which you sift possibilities.
<>When we don’t treat ourselves well, that is a sign of low self-esteem; it sends a message we are not ‘worthy’ of love and care. And guess what will be reflected back into your reality? Taking better care of yourself, and treating yourself with the respect and love you deserve, will help shore up beliefs that say ‘I am good enough.’ ‘I deserve someone who treats me well.’
<>Thankyou, for the post and all the other people that have written something, I will begin at once to put what I know to work into practice. It has worked for me duting 2008-20012 positively, then major setbacks, (also produced by law of attraction as I was thinking negatively) have delayed me, I am now healing and whole and this post has given me more fuel to get on it. Thankyou – ill keep you informed of what I manifest.
<>2. Focus on the positive. Let go of all your negative thoughts….such as “it's hard to find anyone,” “why don't they see how good I am,” and “no one will ever love me.” You have a lot of great qualities that make you so worthy of anyone's love and attention. Others do notice you and appreciate you. There is love all around you. Let it in. When you let it in and focus on the positive, you change your vibration and open a door for the Law of Attraction for love to bring you your specific person.
