<>A few months ago (2 years after having this on my profile) I received a message from Kirk Nugent telling me he loved the work I was doing in the entertainment industry. I was excited to receive such a message of laud from someone whom I admired so much. We began communicating and sharing ideas and he eventually asked me to do some promotional work with him in the Caribbean market.
<>I know this can sound like a tall order. We are so conditioned to basing how we feel on outside events. It is easy to feel good when something happens that gives us a reason to—cultivating warm, fuzzies in the absence (or what we perceive to be the absence) of something to be happy about can take a bit of work. Feeling good even if things happen that you don’t like can take some practice. Living reactively will really put a damper on the attraction process, and it is a habit that needs to be addressed.
<>Creating a vision board is easy. Go through magazines or search the internet to find images that represent what you want to attract. It doesn’t matter if the images are metaphorical or literal. The important thing is that the images speak to you and connect with your desires. Attach the images to a board and place it in a prominent place where you will look at it every day.
<>When we decide that what we want must come in a certain way–like wanting the relationship to be with a specific person for example–that is trying to control the ‘how’ and this can create blocks that prevent what we want from coming in. So long as you hold that intention to let love in, and you are working on your energy, you will attract things that give you these same feelings–it may be him, or it may be someone else. But the bottom line is that it will feel good, and you will be happy. When we are still attached to a specific person, it is easy to think that only they can give us these feelings, and someone else wouldn’t be as good. So, I would say keep doing what you are doing, but don’t put too much focus on trying to attract a specific person.
<>Think about what you want and why you don’t believe that you can have it. Then think about what the ideal world would look like to you, the world in which anything was possible, and pick one image or scene that represents it. It should be something where both this world (in which you don’t believe you can do it) and the ideal world overlap. For example, your ideal world could also have that peaceful corner of your favorite park, right?
<>Here were my rules: In order for it to count, the money had to be from an unexpected source. If I was already anticipating the money that showed up, it wouldn’t count, even if I’d temporarily forgotten about it. Also, I didn’t want it to be associated with work. (Meaning, an out of the blue speaking gig for $1k wouldn’t count.) Anything that I had to work for wouldn’t be included in this tally.
<>Maybe you have tons of bills to pay, and you don’t know how you’re going to come up with the money. Therefore, you walk around thinking about how you don’t have enough money and what’s going to happen to you if you don’t get the money. This thinking fuels an uncomfortable feeling state that attracts more debt instead of your intention to attract more money.
<>I have been researching and experimenting with the LoA for several years now, I started by reading the Cosmic Ordering books by Barbel Mohr, then the Louise Hay Book (You Can Heal Your Life) and then moved onto the LoA more specifically. Through clarifying what I want, focusing everything on this and being determined, I achieved what I could only explain as small miracles! I was miserable, living in a small town where I had no money, no job opportunities, a degree in something that I have no passion for, and a relationship that was heading nowhere.
<>After meditating daily, for 2–4 weeks, and you are operating on a higher frequency you will notice that a thought or ideas suddenly come to you, during or after meditation. You will realize this is not just a random thought. It will feel different, like an impulse, you will have a desire to take action on it. It can be anything, even something completely random, like going to the grocery store to pick something up, or to call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while. Whatever the inspired idea is, follow through with it because what it is is a stepping stone. It brings what you want to manifest a step closer to you. Things manifest in stages, not all at once. It may seem like something just comes to you out of the blue, but it doesn’t. It’s one thing that leads to another that will lead to another thing and that inevitably brings what you want to you. Don’t try to make it happen, just chill out, get out of your own way, and allow it to happen. The Universe will take care of the details, you just have to be ready.
<>I’m glad you’re enjoying my book on using the law of attraction for a specific person, G! There are a couple of possibilities for why he didn’t come. 1) You had resistance. For example, you may have had some fears or doubts about what would happen once he got there. 2) You tried to control the outcome. When you bought the ticket, you decided how things were going to happen. Rather than letting the Universe determine how he would come to you, you decided how he would come.

<>I recently purchased your book and started applying the loa to my relationship. I have been seeing this guy for about 2 months now but we’ve known each other since we were kids…In the beginning he was really into me and passionate, he always found some way to touch me..but a couple of weeks ago all of his affection has stopped and I found out that he still talks to his ex but for court related issues that will be going on until January. Now he seems almost scared to get close to me as if she has threatened him, but I see him everyday and we still kiss goodnight sometimes. He told me hes not completely over her but he never wants to be with her again and that he doesnt want to be in a relationship with anyone for a very long time, but he also says how attracted he is to me and how much he cares for me.

<>I love the blog… I am actually starting to really get into the LOA and manifesting… I ahve formed a master mind team with two other friends, i am kind of the leader of the group, so its very important to me to really work on my personal development so that i am a good leader as well as strong believer. I have several goals that i am working on at this time and am really looking to the universe to see me through……. “and you shall be my witness”
<>At 5pm, the doors opened. The crowd surged. As soon as we made it into the auditorium, we sprinted forward. Due to some confusion, we were able to sprint around a group of people. We headed straight for the front rail. We grabbed the last two spots available on that rail! When my hands wrapped around that cool railing, I smiled. It felt just like I’d imagined it would. And, what a sight it was --Seeing U2 from the very front row. It truly was an amazing experience, and a memory I’ll always cherish.
<>The point is, you can go through any personal development program in history. Any of the great books “The Secret” and “Think and Grow Rich”. An Anthony Robbins program. The real masters all understand the same secret. It’s not just the tools and techniques that make a difference. It’s showing people how to open a channel to abundance that really counts.
<>There is a process to it too. What really happens (this is my own break down of the law) is that once we focus on something we want; our mind starts to calculate how to get that desire met. Then we start to put those thoughts into actions, resulting in us achieving what we want without consciously calculating how to do it. When we couple our desires with conscious and strategic planning, we can achieve almost anything.
<>One way to attract positive thoughts, experiences and situations in your life is to create a manifestation scrapbook. Fill the pages with affirmations and clippings of pictures that depict the things that you wish to materialize in life. Spend about a week creating the various pages in the book and review the book on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on personal goals. People do not need to know about your manifestation book in order for interesting and surprising positive events to come into your life.
<>The results of using the Law of Attraction techniques are only limited by your imagination (and by the laws of physics, you’re not going to manifest bird-like flying anytime soon). There are endless things you can attract in your life. From practical things — like “good parking karma” to always guarantee you a great parking spot, to “calls to adventure” that open you up to random invitations to explore the world — you can use the principles behind the Law of Attraction in any way you please.
<>5. See the positive. Focus on the good things about the specific person you want the Law of Attraction to bring you. Look for something to appreciate. This can be tough if there are negative feelings between the two of you, and you might only be able to find one thing in the beginning, but if you keep working at it, it will get easier. If you’re in a relationship with the person already, you should start to see his/her behavior change and things start improving between the two of you.
