<>Thank so much chitownblu! You’re right that getting rid of resistance and attachment are key. Tapping works well for this. Also, remember to focus on what you want. You descussed that you’re aware your desire has not manifested. That’s living from a point of what is, not from what you want. You’re giving energy to creating more of what you don’t want by doing this. It could also be a factor in things not attracting your specific person as your vibration is closer to alignment with not being with him, than being with him.
<>In many cases, the underlying issue, when it is broken down to its absolute core, is fear of some kind. Fear that people won’t think we are good enough. Fear of being vulnerable to someone. Fear of actually being happy—yeah, lots of people are actually afraid of that. We get so wrapped up in our crap and it becomes such a strong part of our identity, we may not actually know who we are without all the stories we tell ourselves. If you identify yourself as the perpetually single person, an asshole magnet or simply ‘unlucky’ in love, who are you without those labels?
<>Thank you so much for such long reply! The more I’m working on myself with LOA, somehow the more my feelings are changing. Deep down, I know there will be more chances for me out there and therefore, I will meet the love of my life but my brain tells me that I shouldn’t have done that. Feels like my heart and my brain are in different places. Sometimes it’s quite the challenge. But I learned that I need to care for myself first and foremost!
<>3. When I wasn’t working in the restaurant in Tel Aviv I would stay with my Israeli boyfri end. He would work and I would stay home with his mother and grandmother, neither of whom could speak English. To put this to the test, start imagining every evening that Gisele Bundchen will fall in love with you and you will see that you won’t attract her just because you are not meant to be together. <>A wish box is an interesting approach. I had done something similar years ago. I created a box, colored it pink and then put in it all the words and a picture of a person I wanted to meet. I put the box away and didn’t think about it much. About six months or so later, I met a guy that looked so similar to the one I wanted to meet, it was scary! A bell definitely went off.

I kept focusing on this and even though I spoke with different people and sent some emails it didn’t initially seem possible. <>Now if a little voice tells you that you won’t get what you want to get by imposing the LOA principles to it, it doesn’t mean you have bad thoughts, it might just be you subconscious who knows what is written in your destiny and knows this is not something for you to get. There again: read Florence’s book, there are good examples as how to deal with this. Like lets say you want to meet a girl. With the LOA you’d start shaping her: I want her to be blond, tall thin, nice College graduate etc… And your little voice would tell you: “this is never going to happen”. Well it might be true it will never happen. But if like Florence you’d say: “I want to me the perfect girl, the one which is mine by divine selection”. Well there you might attract her and not have that little conflicting voice show up. Because you are not imposing your will but just calling on what is in store for you.
<>When you get into these feelings now, you will make the very helpful realization money is not the end all be all to your happiness—sure, it gives us more options and more freedom, and it surely can reduce stress.  But as the ultimate key to happiness, no way. Nothing outside of us, including money, can ever make us truly happy.  When I went from that dire money situation to being flush with cash, my stress alleviated considerably, and I did feel a hell of a lot better. But, if I had to assess its impact on my level of true happiness, it really didn’t do much for that.

<>One reason she was bad at this game was that she was tuning out the possible existence of coins everywhere she walked. She just didn’t think there could be that many coins hiding in plain sight. By demonstrating to her that the coins were indeed there and that she was simply failing to notice them, I helped shift her beliefs. She stopped thinking of the game as something outside her control (relying on luck or chance), and she began thinking of what she could control (her open-mindedness and attentiveness).

<>But, with that being said, adopting these new beliefs when you have believing their super-crappy polar opposites for so long, will not happen at the snap of a finger. And, as I always say regarding this likely course of events, it’s okay. You want to start with where you are now, and work your way up. But, don’t be discouraged by this and think you can’t get anything good until you totally overcome your issues, and obtain some’ perfect’ vibration. I don’t think anyone has one. I imagine achieving that would result in not wanting anything at all.
<>I started with manifesting pennies in the Summer of 2006. Then I graduated to nickels, dimes, and quarters. I focused on quarters for several weeks. Then I progressed to dollars to $100 to $1000 to $10K to $50K. Overall it took less than a year to go from manifesting pennies to manifesting $50K. After that point I become more interested in non-monetary manifesting and had some especially fun times with manifesting in my social life — friends, mentors, and other yumminess. In fact, I honestly feel that manifesting money is a bit boring compared to all the other cool stuff you can manifest. It’s like playing a video game and obsessing over the score. That can be fun for a while, but eventually you want to focus on more interesting aspects of the game world.
<>What should you do if you discover that you have strong negative emotions about money? You must re-train your mind to think positively about money and develop good feelings and joyful excitement about money. This is very important. The more tension you feel, the more you repel money. But the more the calmness and happiness you have about money, the more you attract it. One effective method for changing your feelings is positive affirmations. Make affirmations like: “money comes to me with ease”, “I have more than enough”, “I am abundantly blessed”. Do this several times daily with a confident smile.
<>When you’re ready, use meditative technique of your choice to calm the thoughts in your mind – focus on your breathing or on a single object in front of you. If your thoughts wonder off, let them, don’t be disturbed about it, just notice that you were distracted (it’s normal) and gently bring back your attention to the object of meditation. When you sense that you’re fully relaxed and that your mind isn’t wondering anymore, you can go to the next stage.

<>It is okay if you don’t have any idea what this person looks like or what type of person he would be exactly. Just imagine yourself in an interaction where things are just ‘easy’ and flowing well. No drama. Just sitting around, spending time together. Imagine yourself taking part in your favorite activities with this other person. Envision a conversation where you are talking about the topics of most interest to you.

<>I don’t have any rituals per se, but there are certain things I do that help me feel more abundant. When I am enjoying something I paid for, whether a tasty meal, a massage or something else that gives me pleasure in some way, I really try to tune into the feeling of appreciation I have for it, and the sense of contentment I feel in that moment. I also try to develop a sense of appreciation for having money to pay bills..rather than feel like I am putting my money towards something I don’t want to put it towards, I express appreciation that I have the money to pay the bill. Awhile back, I went through really bad times financially, and the inability to pay my bills created a lot of shame and embarrassment,and I am happy not to be experiencing that anymore.

<>As for manifestations that involve another person, you probably don’t want to put too much focus on that because we can’t create in another person’s reality. No matter what we do with our energy, it can’t ‘translate’ to someone else and make them do anything. Now, this isn’t to say that you can’t ever get back together with this person, as that may possibly be the best representation of the energy and feelings that you are trying to attract into your life–remember that no matter what we want, we are always after a feeling. What also happens sometimes is when we make changes in our own energy, we line up with different ‘versions’ of people, even if they have fundamentally stayed the same, and this can make it easier to get along with them,etc…
<>He says that you have to believe that you are going to achieve what you want, and visualize that you have it and will get it. Most noteworthy, before Arnold became famous for being a film star, he mentioned in an interview that he would be “the number one box office star in all of Hollywood” one day. This just shows the belief Arnold had and how he used the Law of Attraction to attract this into his life.
<>Later on she began noticing things that were close to coins, but not coins. She found bottle caps, paper clips, scraps of paper, and coin-like smudges on the floor — everything but coins. I kept pointing out to her that there are coins everywhere, but you have to tune in to the “coin abundance frequency” to see them. Each time I found a coin and showed it to her, I could tell it was gradually helping her tune in to the right perceptual frequency.

That is where a lot of people struggle with LOA in general, and relationships in particular–it can be really hard to feel okay with how things are now when we want them to be different. Feeling okay with being single and feeling that fulfillment with life in the absence of that other person can be a challenge, but it is necessary to let in a GOOD relationship.
