<>The book presents familiar material about the Law of Attraction but adds further clarity. Moreover, there is a section about speeding up the manifestation process with heart energy which was new to me and that was refreshing. The author offers helpful meditations and exercises, some of which are also new for me. I enjoyed this book and found it to be very helpful.
<>This was the most powerful and loving piece of advice that my mother gave me when I was on the brink of going bankrupt in 2009. She told me to just be gentle on myself and take one day at a time. This helped tremendously to keep me focussed on my power in the present moment and not sabotage my vibration with overwhelm by thinking about the uncertainty of my financial future. This is an imperative factor to energy management throughout the manifesting process.
<>Martha says she noticed the law of attraction at work in an unlikely situation—while coaching homeless heroin addicts in Phoenix. Martha says they lived on the street because they couldn’t afford apartments. “Then, I found out they were spending an average of $180,000 a year on heroin,” she says. When Martha asked how they got the money for their addiction, she saw a change. “They would become completely different when they were talking about the one thing they believed was necessary. And as I’ve worked with them, I’ve seen that what they believe and expect is what they get.” (Martha Beck, author, life coach and O, the Oprah magazine columnist)
<>I am in a situation where the man I just got back into my life (applying the LOA) is saying he just wants to be friends. I don’t understand why because when we are together things are great. When we first got back cool after a nasty seperation, he was reaching out to me constantly. Then I told him I wanted to spend more time with him and it seems after I said that, things went sour and he jumped from wanting to be around me to saying nothing is there anymore and he just wants to be friends. No warning or anything. This is the man I want to be around. I am very happy with him and cannot be in the same place I was with him when we were on bad terms, I refuse to go back to that space! I have been saying affirmations like “I am fun to be around;I Am someone that comes naturally to ____; I attract ____ naturally. etc” I guess i’m in a rush to spend time with him due to lost time when we weren’t talking. PLease help me! I have a strong desire to be with and around this man.
<>In his highly acclaimed works, Wattles explains the importance of the mind and the significant role that it plays in helping a person to achieve financial wealth. As he describes in his book, ‘the riches they receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of their vision, the fixity of their purpose, the steadiness of their faith, and the depth of their gratitude.’

<>If you’re practicing the technique on something bigger, this exercise may be tricky, but use your imagination. If you’re trying to lose weight, go out and buy an outfit that fits the size you’re aiming for. If you want a new car, go to a dealership and shop around. If you’re aiming for something as big as complete financial freedom, start planning what you’re going to do with all that free time and money.
<>This type of thing happens because we showed up, desperate, and without clarity about what we really wanted. The same applies to manifesting your Soulmate.  You already know what you DON’T want.  So let’s put the main focus on putting together a list of what you DO WANT that is in alignment with your core values and expresses what you want to experience and share in your new relationship.
<>Researchers at Harvard Medical School have discovered meditation literally alters the structure of the brain, thickening the regions associated with attention and sensory processing. Other research into meditation and biofeedback techniques has demonstrated increases in the subjects’ ability to remain focused on specific tasks, reductions in reaction time, and improvements in psychomotor response.
<>After watching the world’s greatest magician, David Copperfield, perform on television in Malaysia, Kabir found his calling to be a magician at 6 years old. Growing up, his passion grew and he could no longer keep it as a hobby. A copy of The Success Principles found its way to his hands and he was clear more than ever that he wanted to become the Malaysian David Copperfield.
<>For many of us, it’s extremely difficult to switch from the mindset that we have lived our whole life to the one that we can continue to live upon, without some extra help. That help can be found in other LoAers, motivational speakers, hypnosis and other tools like vision boards ans wish lists, but the main thing is that we want to make the change, and to act upon it.
<>Think about the qualities you seek in the person you want to attract. These qualities are very personal and vary from individual to individual. Remember, there are no limits to what you can want.  Be specific about what is important to you; think about what you want in detail.  A great way to get some clarity is to make a list of the qualities you find attractive and the values that you admire in other people. Making a list or journaling our expectations is a powerful tool when applying the law of attraction to any facet of your life.
<>First, lots of people mistakenly focus just on their thoughts, all the while feeling like crap, and then get disappointed when they don’t seem to be making any progress. While thoughts are certainly an important part of the equation, we attract based on what we feel, and if we don’t feel good, all the affirmations and happy thoughts in the world won’t do jack unless we manage to build some momentum on the level of emotion.
<>The Law of Attraction has been popularized in the early 21st century by books and films such as The Secret. This 2006 film and the subsequent book[49] use interviews with New Thought authors and speakers to explain the principles of the proposed metaphysical law that one can attract anything that one thinks about consistently. Writing for the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, Mary Carmichael and Ben Radford wrote that "neither the film nor the book has any basis in scientific reality", and that its premise contains "an ugly flipside: if you have an accident or disease, it's your fault".[47]
<>Step 1: Essentially, you need to make the decision that you really want to attract this life partner. Then, truly commit to the idea of spending the rest of your life with this person. Making this commitment may involve processing old wounds (e.g. via journaling or therapy). Hopefully, the past can be left behind and you can opt to embrace hope instead of fear.
