<>What The Secret didn’t share is that activating the Law of Attraction requires more than inherent desire, an active imagination, and creating a vision board. Positive affirmations don’t work as a standalone. Meaning, a person who is broke isn’t going to manifest his or her rent by sitting around thinking positive thoughts alone. A person who is struggling with a health challenge may not overcome that challenge through positive thoughts by itself.

<>Completely out of nowhere I was inspired to look for my favourite breed of dog on a rescue website – it turns out that bull terriers have several rescue charities that deal with just that breed. I felt completely inspired so I filled out the application as soon as I found the website and just said ‘any dog in need would be ok for me’. I wrote on my universal lists everyday that the most ideal dog would come to me with ease and joy, so I really started to believe that this would be the case.

But the more the calmness and happiness you have about money, the more you attract it. One effective method for changing your feelings is positive affirmations. Make affirmations like: “money comes to me with ease”, “I have more than enough”, “I am abundantly blessed”. Do this several times daily with a confident smile.
<>It is okay if you don’t have any idea what this person looks like or what type of person he would be exactly. Just imagine yourself in an interaction where things are just ‘easy’ and flowing well. No drama. Just sitting around, spending time together. Imagine yourself taking part in your favorite activities with this other person. Envision a conversation where you are talking about the topics of most interest to you.
<>Many people have limiting beliefs which keep them from allowing abundance and happiness into their lives. If this describes you, realize that you must first change your limiting beliefs into thoughts that you are deserving, worthy, lovable, desirable, and capable—as well as smart enough, strong enough, attractive enough, rich enough, good enough, and “enough” in every other way that matters to you.
<>2) De-Cluttering your Mind. De-Cluttering your Mind means exactly that.  It means letting go or releasing any fears or beliefs you have about love that are keeping love away from you.  For example, many people believe they have some kind of fatal flaw or secret that may repulse others.  For women, it normally is something physical, and for men, it is normally something in their financial situation or career. These insecurities will lead you to have thoughts such as:
<>Life can be very challenging for most of us.  You’re going to have good days, and you’re going to have not so good days.  In fact, many things are going to be out of your control and it’s great to recognize that you’re not always going to be on the top of your game.  Therefore, you need to have some sort of support system in your life so that you can show up fully, especially once you meet your Soulmate. Why? Because bringing all of life’s challenges into one relationship, especially with your romantic partner, will place a very heavy burden on your relationship, not to mention draining the sexual and creative energy from it.  You cannot have that! You need to enlist the support of others and create your own group of amazing, challenging, and supportive friends.

<>When you do find yourself meeting with someone, don’t pin all your hopes on this person being the ‘one.’ You really don’t even know him yet, and you have no idea if this person is really compatible with you, or is the type of person you would want to be with over the long-term. Sure, you can be excited, and look forward to it, but release any expectation around how things will play out. Work on getting yourself into a state of ‘surrender’ where you just accept what happens as it happens, knowing all the while, what you want is coming, even if you have no idea how that looks right now.
<>No matter what we attract, it is always there to help us, so you want to think about this scenario and what feelings came up around it, and that can clue you in to how it is useful for your journey of attracting a relationship. As for your friend, I am not sure what topic of conversation was involved as far as you feeling like you can’t be yourself around her, but as some general advice, anytime we feel like we can’t be ourselves in a certain situation or around a certain person, it is a problem plain and simple that must be examined. Ultimately, it comes down to determining whether your reluctance to be yourself is more based in your own fears, and your friend would more than likely accept you, or if your friend is someone who is very judgmental or wouldn’t be able to accept you for who are because of strong beliefs she holds about certain things.

If you have ever thought or said “I would be happier if I could find my other-half” you are noticing what you don’t have and guess how the law of attraction will respond? With more of the same!  Remember that any thoughts of negation can only bring more of that same situation into your life. <>“My mum was visiting and wanted to tour some of London. I had not made any plans. In fact, I was rushed and feeling a little bit out of alignment and wanted to recuperate rather than be a tour guide. But she was on her way, and I wanted us both to have a good time. And so I did my Universe List, asking for more faith and belief from the angels, to show me I was loved and guided at all times. I also asked that the day go smoothly. My mum said she wanted to go up the fire of London monument, to see the views of the City. Although we were both hungry and ready for lunch, we got straight on a bus as we had a tight schedule. I had forgotten the exact location of our destination and was stressed at this point, so I closed my eyes and asked to be uplifted and to be elevated into a good mood. I opened my eyes and noticed it was time to get off. I turned a corner and there in front of us was not the monument- but St Paul’s Cathedral. I noticed that there was a viewing platform very high up above the dome- and I imagined it was probably higher than the monument. I suggested this to my mum and in the same moment I heard someone call my name. It was a friend from the Law of Attraction processes group, who happened to be working at St Paul’s. She was eating lunch and had lots of food to spare, which she offered us. So we ate, and then she ushered us in. The first place she took us was the famous “Light of the World” painting by William Holman Hunt, depicting that spirit is always there for us- we just need to ‘open the door’ and let it in. This was the most perfect metaphor for my earlier question of wanting more faith and belief. I felt loved and guided, my faith was increased. My friend gave us a tour around the cathedral. And when we got up to the viewing platform, with its breath-taking view- I noticed that monument was far down below us. Then we left, discovering a wonderful museum ‘by chance’ and had a fantastic day full of many more synchronicities.”

I like the simple format.Easy to understand if you are somewhat familiar with the work. The part of the book called 'The Promise' is more of his etheric and more spiritual personal experiences and views... not very traditional and profoundly 'out there!' for sure, but I do really appreciate this one.
<>Hey Phil, my friend Claire sent this over after seeing me last night for the first time in months. I have been obsessively working on a project / startup to use rock climbing and adventure to help at-risk kids in the slums of Brazil. What I found is that although I love what I am doing and believe in it completely, I have been stressed out of my mind and without realizing it, I have been manifesting this stress into all aspects of my life and sometimes into the energy of my campaign. <>when u think abt somthng deeply u release the energy of ur thoughts and some ideas related to ur thoughts will reach u in return…. all u have to just concentrate on what you want. if u want a jet plane on ur b’day which is 20 days ahead so its nt impossible bt will b called a miracle if u really got it…but as ur birthday comes near you try to apply law of attraction and keep thinking abt getting a plane as gift and finally you don’t get it. Now wht most people will do is criticising the LOA and living the day as usual thinking abt some other things bt nt concentrating on any.
<>I used to do a lot of work helping people to stop smoking. There are only 2 reasons people don’t stop smoking. One, because they don’t want to (often this is subconscious) Two, because they don’t believe it’s possible. Or they assume it will be incredibly difficult and painful, and they can’t do it without suffering forever. (Again, this is often subconscious and it is a flawed assumption).

We were so close that we were in ‘NO STRING ATTACHED’ kind of relationship and I felt in love with him.
