<>Don’t force yourself to do things that don’t feel good to you, if you really don’t want to do them. So, if you hate going to bars, don’t go every weekend. You want to act from a place of lightness and inspiration when you do act. You don’t want to act from a place of force or fear. There is never anything we must do to attract a certain thing into our life. If taking certain actions makes you feel good in the sense it nurtures a feeling that you will get find this relationship, then go for it. Just don’t get attached to the online dating, the blind dates, and the various outings that will put you in contact with the types of people you hope to meet. Have fun with it.
<>When you do find yourself meeting with someone, don’t pin all your hopes on this person being the ‘one.’ You really don’t even know him yet, and you have no idea if this person is really compatible with you, or is the type of person you would want to be with over the long-term. Sure, you can be excited, and look forward to it, but release any expectation around how things will play out. Work on getting yourself into a state of ‘surrender’ where you just accept what happens as it happens, knowing all the while, what you want is coming, even if you have no idea how that looks right now.
<>“Someone in this week’s group suggested to put on the Universe List things that you don’t really care happen or not; random things like leprechauns or unicorns. The stories I heard were inspiring; I suppose because you have no resistance at all when asking for random things- they seem to show up quickly for people- and it seems to be a great way to ‘test’ the Universe. A girl mentioned pink elephants- so that’s exactly what I put on my Universe List. The next day, I was taking the bus somewhere and I looked and there on the skyscraper was a picture of a large pink elephant.”
<>As great as this was, my real triumph was this: My severe body image problems (which was borderline dysmorphia) have also been fully resolved- which means I no longer have the overwhelming feelings of self-criticism- and actually feel happy with the way I look- a first for my whole adult life to date. What you have given me on this subject alone- not even mentioning the acting- is priceless and something other therapists couldn’t do anything with. You guys are amazing.”
<>I’ve been studying LoA for a few years now and have read countless books on the matter. To me, Napoleon Hill’s book was by far the best because it wasn’t just full of platitudes, it actually gave me some actionable items and did tell me that a certain amount of work was involved. This was important to me because I have a core belief (right or wrong) that you can’t get something for nothing. With that said, even with all the research I have done, and the belief that LoA exists, I have yet to experience any positive outcomes from using any of the techniques. Doing yet more research, I have come to the conclusion that there are two things that I am doing wrong, or more concisely, unable to achieve. The first being that I can not seem to attach a feeling to a desire. Try as I may, there remains some disconnect somewhere. Second, I have a lot of negative self talk and some negative core beliefs (both of which I am working to change… more research). I believe that these two things sabotage any attempt by me to manifest things. As I am practicing LoA, the little voice in my head (my Ego) will tell me that I am being foolish, or that “this doesn’t work”, etc. I tell it to shut up but it never does and introduces doubt every time. This actually brings up a third problem. Unwavering faith. You mentioned faith to get you back on track. Where do you find this? How do you develop it? Do you have any suggestions on any of these issues? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
<>“Over the last fifteen years, I’d read so many books about relationships; how to find my ‘soulmate’ or ‘the one’- and many other books like these. I even spent several thousand pounds on a few courses which advertised that they were going to tell me how to get my partner. But nothing worked, and with every new course I felt even worse and more defeated. When I discovered The Law of Attraction Centre, you made me realise that nothing would change until I changed. Although this sounds obvious, the way you said it meant I ‘got it’ on a deep level- and I signed up that day to your coaching. My initial thought was doubt: “How is this going to be different when nothing else has worked?”- and you seemingly read my mind (or maybe you’ve seen this time and time again), when you told me to follow the process and I would discover answers myself. I read the Success Stories archive over and over whenever I was feeling doubtful (which I was, I have to admit, many times in the early days)- and continued with my practice. Fast forward several months: My love life shifted in a way that was so dramatic it just had to be your work- I became ‘popular’ rather than totally invisible- that’s the best way I can describe it- and although I’m not sure if my boyfriend is ‘the one’ – the fact that I’m enjoying a real, fulfilling relationship for the first time in my life is a miracle in itself. Actually, the idea I’m not so desperate to force him to be ‘the one’ is probably a sign at how much I’ve changed: It was my neediness and desperation that was ruining my life more than anything else- which the ‘love search’ courses and books were just making even worse. I’m so grateful I found you and I’m now excited, rather than worried, at what the future will bring.”
<>You are greater than what is going on around you. Your relationship with yourself is your most important relationship. What’s happened happened. It’s in the past and you can’t change it. It sucks, but it’s happened. You can still change what happens in the future. Focus on getting to a place where you feel better. The happier and more joyful you feel, the more positive results you will see.
<>Hi Geoff! Thank you for your reply. I do understand the chapter is about getting an ex back. However, what I meant to ask is whether the same rule applies if the person you want to manifest a relationship with is someone you haven’t previously dated. You see I talk to him everyday and he often tends to talk about the girl he is with or unknowingly tells me how I mean a lot to him but only as a friend. And every time that happens I just can’t stop negative thoughts of fear and doubt cropping up in my mind, thus making it difficult for me to let go. So I want to know if I should maintain some distance, perhaps talk less often. The only issue here is that there isn’t really any problem between us. He knows I love him and we kind of sorted it out a couple of months back and have continued to be best friends. I don’t quite have a reason to suddenly cut down on talking to him and I am sure if I do that he would want to know why.
<>THANK YOU REAL SUBLIMINAL!!!! You have given me the tools to make REAL changes in my thinking and my life. I’m eternally grateful!!I bought your “Law of Attraction” mp3. I listened to it everyday religiously. Had it playing silently all day in the background of whatever I was doing for about 3 weeks. I didn’t pay it much attention just kepy playing it till one day….. I realized I had given up caffine, (my Coca-Cola everyday), most of my sweets and was eating better. I was even making better financial decisions without even thinking about it. I was in the grocery store when I came to this BIG epiphany when I was NOT attracted to the junk aisle.
<>“I began finally doing the techniques you had taught. Although rationally I believed they would work, something was stopping me fully living this way. Then I heard you saying about taking it one step at a time. A real relief came over me and I started with a short 20 minute meditation in the morning and a list of appreciation in the evening. I also got into a habit of repeating some of my appreciative statements throughout the day. I feel lighter, calmer and more relaxed on a consistent basis – and something happened that I wanted to share which is a sign of improved manifestations: I hadn’t been on holiday for about three years (due to time and money) and recently a friend invited me on an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles! When I was there it turned out that one of my favourite authors was doing an event around the corner from our hotel, too. It was a magical experience. Great motivation for me to keep going with these incredible tools.”
<>“I was going out to a friend’s house on a night where I thought it would rain- so I took my umbrella with me. When I left her house after dinner, after a few minutes of walking I realised I had left my umbrella next to the chair I was sitting on in her dining room. It was late- and I felt going back would disturb her, so I continued, realising that I could borrow a colleague’s. When I walked toward my front door, I felt a strange relaxed knowing that my umbrella would be returned to me by the angels. I looked outside the front door and an umbrella was there and I thought ‘It can’t be…’. I looked- but it was my housemate’s umbrella. When I woke up the next morning, at the foot of my bed was the distinctive umbrella that I had ‘left’ at my friend’s house. As I was retelling this story to a friend, a woman at the next table in the restaurant generously asked us if we would like her tray of ‘high tea’ cakes. We thanked her and she smiled and left. A few moments later she returned… She had left her umbrella next to her chair! I love both the power of the Universe and also it’s sense of humour.”
<>I really enjoy reading your posts and learning about opening up to deep and fulfilling love. After heart shattering loss over the course of the last two years I am now in the process of putting myself back together again. It’s still pretty messy but I really want to learn to love myself and be the best version of myself, for me and for my soulmate who I know is out there waiting for me to be ready for forever.
<>Sometimes this can be the hardest part of the Law of Attraction to grasp because when there's a person we love or are attracted to, he/she is all we can think about. We think the solution is in using the Law of Attraction to get the person to love us or notice us. But the Law of Attraction is about you – your thoughts, your feelings, and your vibration.
