<>I recently released some resistance about finding the right guy. And I had this weird experience yesterday. I felt like maybe I could meet somebody yesterday when I went out with my friend. And I actually forgot about the fact that I thought about it. And I ran into somebody at a book store and he actually told me something that I didn’t expect and I didn’t know what to say so I couldn’t respond properly. I actually was with my friend who had strong opinion against something and I was afraid if she might not like me acting certain way. Anyway, so I actually wanted to talk to the guy more but for some reason, I couldn’t. But I discovered some limiting beliefs. I realized that I need to be myself even though I worry what my friend thinks about me. And if she doesn’t support me, maybe she’s not good for me even though I really care about her as a friend. The reason that I couldn’t be myself yesterday was because I cared so much about what my friend would think about me.
<>I have understood that “If Its To Be, It’s Up to Me”, I will have to practice gratitude with discipline and perseverance that’s the key to fulfilling all my dreams. I have many challenges but I am not scared to face them and turn them into opportunities. <>The process of attraction happens at the level of what we feel and believe, and when you don’t set standards and boundaries, this shows you don’t feel very good about yourself, and that you have a lot of crappy beliefs that essentially amount to not feeling good enough, and not being deserving of the best life has to offer. These types of beliefs can mess with various aspects of our life, but can be particularly problematic in the love department. And guess what types of people and situations we attract when we feel this way? Shitty, shitty, shitty ones.

And so we tell the same old story, over and over, about why we have our childhood wounds, and about how bad our previous relationship was, how we got dumped, how we’re not being loved the way we want to be, how unequal this relationship is, how we have these abandonment issues, how they cheated on us, how we’re too old to find love, too fat, too skinny, too white, too black, too gay, too straight, too poor, too rich, too unstable, too unreliable, afraid of commitment, too demanding… Blah, blah, blah. PLEASE STOP! The more you tell the same old story, the more you’re perpetuating it in your experience and the more you’re blocking love from coming into your life. Why?  Because you keep focusing on it.
<>You can be happy now, and by doing this work, you are re-creating your world and embracing your capacity to Love. You are growing yourself into a new you. You are becoming the kind of person you’ll eventually attract into your life.  You’re becoming more and more your True Self! Once you align with your True Self and take inspired action from that place, the possibilities are infinite!
<>One reason is that we have several negative notions and ideas about money that have been programmed into our subconscious from our childhood. And these negative thoughts make it very difficult for many people to get the conscious and sub conscious mind to vibrate in a way that will attract money. Examples of these negative thoughts are “money does not grow on trees”, “wealth is only for a privileged few”, “my parents were poor and I have no one to help me”.
<>When you’re ready, use meditative technique of your choice to calm the thoughts in your mind – focus on your breathing or on a single object in front of you. If your thoughts wonder off, let them, don’t be disturbed about it, just notice that you were distracted (it’s normal) and gently bring back your attention to the object of meditation. When you sense that you’re fully relaxed and that your mind isn’t wondering anymore, you can go to the next stage.
<>The first time I seriously started working with LOA on a consistent basis was during a time of severe financial strain, so I know what it is like to really feel the pressure of lack of money.  I went from literally living off credit cards to attracting three lucrative freelance writing jobs all in the same week, which led to me making more money than I ever had, so I have seen firsthand what is possible when we can get our mind right.

<>I know the LOA says when you want to manifest a specific person you have to be willing to lose them – you have to let go and be ok with not being with them in order to manifest the relationship you want. <>Pretend that you have more than enough money. When you go shopping, look at the things that you want and tell yourself that you can afford them. Keep a large bill in your wallet… $20… $50… $100… and whenever you go out, spend it with your imagination. Notice all the things you can buy with that bill. You will instantly feel better about money, and as you feel better, you will attract more money to you.
<>I stumbled on your page a couple weeks ago. I’ve been coping with post partum depression for the past few months. Although medication has absolutely helped take the edge off, ever since reading your words I’ve felt a consistent and steady rise in my feelings of happiness. The medication helped stabilize my depression, that’s true, but your words helped me tap into my joy. Joy I haven’t felt in years, possibly since I was a child myself.

<>With all of this differentiation comes a wide-ranging approach to one common theme that binds us all: money. Money, in fact, is simply a story. It’s the most successful story that humanity has ever created. Beyond the invention of language, which enabled communication, money has enabled commerce, and has moved us beyond merely bartering for, and exchanging goods and services as we once solely did ages ago.
<>But, after seeing The Secret in 2006, I started digging deeper in how to practice creating my reality with my mind. I started attending the School of Metaphysics, which is an excellent course of study in the powers of mind. Armed with some level of knowledge of the LoA, and what I’d learned and practiced at the School, I decided to facilitate a Law of Attraction book study group - where we studied and practiced exercises around Wallace Wattles’ Science of Getting Rich, and Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. I developed a manifestation practice where my Mexico dream was top. I imagined myself retired - relieved from the stress of selling real estate… in an area of Mexico that reportedly has the world’s second best climate… where I’d visited only briefly 10 years previous, but knew from that brief encounter that that little village was where I wanted to live in Mexico when I retired.
<>Your experience is a common one with manifesting, regardless of the desire. We do all this work, inner and outer, we don’t get the results we want, we get super-pissed, say f$ck it, and give up. Then usually some good stuff comes in from the positive momentum that has been built up, now that the massive resistance has diminished. Now, while doing a lot of stuff that makes us feel badly, or taking a lot of action for a long time without results, usually leads us to a point where we surrender, it is not the best approach to take because it isn’t necessary. It’s not something you want to consciously do. You don’t want to force yourself into surrender. You can take action if you feel compelled, but just make sure it feels good, and you don’t get attached to those channels as being the way that person must come to you.
<>Then one day in 2005, I had an “A-ha” moment. “Why couldn’t I be writing for Early to Rise?” After all, for the previous five years I had been a regular contributor to Men’s Health magazine, Men’s Fitness magazine, and several other large fitness publications. And each day Early to Rise published a short health brief in their newsletter. It was the perfect fit.
<>Ever notice how travel magazines show a beautiful destination, maybe a white sand beach and azure blue sky? And, there is always a table and empty chair. Your mind is attracted to the empty chair. It wants you to be there. Goals are the same. The law of attraction is energised by the gap between here and there. So long as it is bridgeable (see tip 21).
<>the trouble is in the mind, for the body is only the house for the mind to dwell in, and we put a value on it according to its worth. Therefore if your mind has been deceived by some invisible enemy into a belief, you have put it into the form of a disease, with or without your knowledge. By my theory or truth, I come in contact with your enemy and restore you to your health and happiness. This I do partly mentally and partly by talking till I correct the wrong impressions and establish the Truth, and the Truth is the cure.[11]

Some forms of meditation also promote synchronization of the left and right hemispheres of the brain, another factor that has been identified in electroencephalograph (EEG) readings during moments of inspiration and during participation in creative activities. In a study conducted with 362 students in Taiwan to determine the effects of meditation on creativity, attention, IQ, and anxiety, the greatest improvement was observed in creativity.

<>How does the law of attraction work if the person you love has moved to a different state? From the beginning he stated he wanted to only be friends because he was not ready for a long term relationship but we did all the things that people do in relationships and agreed to be monogamous. He has left for another state to take care of issues with family/children and says he doesn’t know when he’ll return. We don’t talk/text as before. I really developed strong feelings for him as we spent a lot of time together and I felt they were reciprocated to a point. Not sure what to do at this point. <>We all long for that connection with someone else. It is natural to want it. It is okay to want it. The absence of it in our life creates a very strong emotional reaction. We notice the lack of a relationship constantly. There is a huge vibration of lack. <>Hey Phil, my friend Claire sent this over after seeing me last night for the first time in months. I have been obsessively working on a project / startup to use rock climbing and adventure to help at-risk kids in the slums of Brazil. What I found is that although I love what I am doing and believe in it completely, I have been stressed out of my mind and without realizing it, I have been manifesting this stress into all aspects of my life and sometimes into the energy of my campaign. Reading your blog I was reminded of how important it is to manifest not only what you want but also how you want to feel. That energy is so important and certainly dictates how people feel around you. I have been bringing my computer to bed and stressing out over emails until I fall asleep… NOT healthy. The deeper you’re able to envision it, the more likely you’ll be to see things through. Oftentimes, we can’t envision something incredible happening in our lives because we try not to set ourselves up for disappointment, thus we impose self-limitations that stifle us from achieving our dreams.
<>I left my friend, and went to take a look. What was happening was people had been saving spaces for their friends. Every time a new friend showed up the line backed up a bit. I wasn’t happy but there was nothing I could do about it. So I just got back in line. I doubled my visualizing efforts. I kept feeling the feel of the cold rail between my hands: over and over and over again.
<>But it’s only when you are okay with not being with them, that you open the path for the Law of Attraction to attract your specific person to you. Until you’re okay with not being with him/her, a part of you is resisting and making it impossible for you to have what you want. This means, according to the Law of Attraction, that until you’re okay with possibly losing him/her, it will be difficult for you to have the relationship you want with him/her. You have to be okay with not having him/her.
