<>Others have questioned the references to modern scientific theory, and have maintained, for example, that the Law of Attraction misrepresents the electrical activity of brainwaves.[50] Victor Stenger and Leon Lederman are critical of attempts to use quantum mysticism to bridge any unexplained or seemingly implausible effects, believing these to be traits of modern pseudoscience.[51][8][9]
<>Step 1 is important because it prepares your mind and body to receive whatever you’re asking for. Our brains don’t know the difference between reality and imagination. When you engage in full, sensory imagination, your brain fires up your body to move forward. Muscles, blood flow, heart, lungs and every part of your body gear up to take part in whatever you’re imagining.
<>3. Love without fear of getting hurt. The scariest thing about love is opening yourself up to it. When you open yourself, there's a chance you might get hurt. If you're afraid of getting hurt, you might unconsciously be preventing someone from getting as close to you as you want. Be willing to take the risk and fully open yourself to love. You will manifest the love you want.
<>You’re also competing with other people’s intentions – both good and bad. So, be aware that if your desire is in direct conflict with someone else’s stronger desire, the universe will respond accordingly. The Law of Attraction does not give you full and total control of your life, it simply states that like will attract like. You can use this to your advantage by being intentional with your desires, but this isn’t magic.
<>2. I decided to try it again. I chose not to push the boundary too much, and decided to shoot for 300 shekels. Again, this amount of tips was over three times the norm and unheard. I did it again! Well, I got 290 shekels (I was 10 shekels off but I didn’t go home and repeat the mantra all night, I was happy with that!). Needless to say the other eight or so waitresses all started trying my new trick!
<>There is a process to it too. What really happens (this is my own break down of the law) is that once we focus on something we want; our mind starts to calculate how to get that desire met. Then we start to put those thoughts into actions, resulting in us achieving what we want without consciously calculating how to do it. When we couple our desires with conscious and strategic planning, we can achieve almost anything.
<>I quickly set about trying to arrange a dog walker in anticipation. People just approached me with great ideas I hadn’t even considered while I was busy ‘blocking’ why I couldn’t get a dog. I found all sorts of resources to keep a dog happy and I decided to also go to a charity to rescue a dog that was in need. It’s weird but I had tried a popular charity and waited and waited it just never seemed to get off the ground, but as I continued to do my appreciation lists on how great it was to have a dog in my life – when I got out of the way and the universe moved, it was quick!
<>This brings us to something you need to completly avoid. If you have ever thought or said “I would be happier if I could find my other-half” you are noticing what you don’t have and guess how the law of attraction will respond? With more of the same!  Remember that any thoughts of negation can only bring more of that same situation into your life. This is no different when applying the law of attraction to love and relationships.
<>I’ve been dating my boyfriend for almost a year now and we live together. In the beginning of October things were bad, he forced me to move out thinking it would help things, which surprisingly it did. I thought this would only make things worse, I was constantly worried he would cheat on me, go behind my back, and betray me; like he has before. We were still together, just not living together. A week later after we spent some time talking and working through things, I moved back in. Ever since then over the few weeks things have been great, he’s treated me amazing, however I still have a fear of, “what if he is treating me like this but is potentially going behind my back?” A few days ago he had a missed call from a number with a area code of where his ex lives, I do not know if it was her, a telemarketer, or just a random wrong number. But it is has worried me over the past few days. I also worry when I’m at work and he’s at home, what he’s doing. I try so hard to imagine us happy and trying to believe in everything he says to me is true and sincere. I just have major trust issues. I care for him an immense amount and would do anything for him, I love him very much. However, I do believe that I would be okay with out him.. eventually in time. I do not want this to happen, but you said you have to imagine yourself being able to let go of that person. He is for sure the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, and I never want to lose him. What I am confused about is, if I am using the Law of Attraction to attract him more into my life, what if he is using the Law of Attraction to attract a different person in his life, such as his ex, instead of me. Which situation with manifest? He is not the type of person to ever think about these, he doesn’t even know what the Law of Attraction is, but I believe he could subconsciously be doing this and not even knowing it. Again, I think way too in depth about things and sometimes just make it worse for myself.
<>2 or 3 minutes after I submitted my online application I was telephoned by the charity who said that they would be arranging for a volunteer to visit my flat and offer me an assessment. I couldn’t believe it! 48 hours later I had a volunteer on my sofa doing the paperwork, within 14 days of my application I had an English Bull terrier delivered to my door!
<>“I have been getting a lot of compliments about my body since doing the Focusing Process- in fact more than I can remember ever receiving, especially in such a short time. It makes sense though, because I feel the most confident in this area I have ever felt. I have also being following your work around lining up with a romantic relationship. I was beginning to feel a lot more relaxed around this area of life, when I picked a card from an oracle deck I have saying ‘Loved one’… I never pick that card usually! And then another card from another deck literally flew out: I saw an image of the card in my mind before I turned it over- and I was right: It was another love card, reassuring me that new romance was coming. I can literally sense him around me and so when we do meet, it won’t really be a surprise. Better still, I’m feeling content. I’m not feeling that familiar endless longing for a relationship- whereas before my whole life revolved around ‘trying to find a partner’ and it wasn’t working- and it was making me miserable. I feel good and I anticipate good. Thanks for convincing me that what I want is possible. I look forward to sharing more success stories when I see you at the Glastonbury retreat later this year.”
<>2) De-Cluttering your Mind. De-Cluttering your Mind means exactly that.  It means letting go or releasing any fears or beliefs you have about love that are keeping love away from you.  For example, many people believe they have some kind of fatal flaw or secret that may repulse others.  For women, it normally is something physical, and for men, it is normally something in their financial situation or career. These insecurities will lead you to have thoughts such as:
<>The Universe becomes a far more active partner in helping you create the life you desire when your intentions are specific. You don’t just want money fast; you want X amount of dollars fast or even more. Once I walked into a casino with only $1.00 in my pocket, having forgotten my wallet at home. Amazingly, I walked out of the casino with a sizeable sum of money. I set an intention that I wanted to turn that dollar into $20.00. I could have driven home to get my wallet, but I was already there and decided to invoke the power of the Law of Attraction. By the time the dust settled that day, I had won $2400! Remember, I started with only $1.00
<>“I heard about you back in 2008 from a friend and it was only a few months ago that I found your blog and have read pretty much everything on it along with the success stories. The workshop for me, was exactly what I needed at that moment. It clarified a lot of my past and explained a very simple process that is more than doable. The energy during it was amazing. I’ve been so happy and at peace since then. So thank you for the workshop and also your blog which is great. I also found your teaching style just perfect and my friend agreed. She will be contacting you for your CD. We couldn’t believe how much you shared in just three hours and how you were able to simplify a subject so many tend to over complicate. I’ve been to many workshops etc. with many teachers in the past but your authenticity and ability to just be yourself was so refreshing!”
<>I was led back to ‘The Secret’ from an interview I read. Having read it before it made more sense this time about how to really believe and be grateful. I received a surprise check the following day which helped me to begin a project and have seen another financial boost since. The law of attraction and the positive feelings you convey ‘attract’ opportunities and help make smarter decisions. I finally believe and am making it a habit. I have always been ambitious so I excited at what I may manifest.
<>Now if a little voice tells you that you won’t get what you want to get by imposing the LOA principles to it, it doesn’t mean you have bad thoughts, it might just be you subconscious who knows what is written in your destiny and knows this is not something for you to get. There again: read Florence’s book, there are good examples as how to deal with this. Like lets say you want to meet a girl. With the LOA you’d start shaping her: I want her to be blond, tall thin, nice College graduate etc… And your little voice would tell you: “this is never going to happen”. Well it might be true it will never happen. But if like Florence you’d say: “I want to me the perfect girl, the one which is mine by divine selection”. Well there you might attract her and not have that little conflicting voice show up. Because you are not imposing your will but just calling on what is in store for you.
<>My life transformed in the space of a few months purely through visualising what I wanted and FEELING what it would be like to have it. I’m not saying I have it all, far from it and I still have days where I lose hope, but I would say the most important thing when you’re feeling down is to simply try and raise yourself to a slightly better feeling. Keep doing that, until you’re in a place to start imagining what you want… the rest is written in the stars! If you are struggling to find a happier place, a quick and effective way to do it is be grateful. Think of all you are grateful of and it will undoubtedly lift you up.
<>Once you have your vision, and after you have shared it with the right people, then you have to get to work – painstakingly difficult, but rewarding work – and you must take a relentless approach to it. There will be days when you work till you feel like your eyes will start bleeding, but you must, as Frank McKinney advises, “take the lunch pail approach” to your legacy.
<>Thank you for responding, but how do I find out where and when I went wrong? The person that I have been on and off with for ten years, how do I get that back on track with him without the resentment and just have a good family life. I will only allow myself to go but so far because my children comes first and that is partly his problem it’s like he wants me to love him but hate my kids or just want them to go away. Do I apply the LOA or do I let go and focus on my blessings which are my children and many other things?
<>The process of attraction happens at the level of what we feel and believe, and when you don’t set standards and boundaries, this shows you don’t feel very good about yourself, and that you have a lot of crappy beliefs that essentially amount to not feeling good enough, and not being deserving of the best life has to offer. These types of beliefs can mess with various aspects of our life, but can be particularly problematic in the love department. And guess what types of people and situations we attract when we feel this way? Shitty, shitty, shitty ones.
<>I started with manifesting pennies in the Summer of 2006. Then I graduated to nickels, dimes, and quarters. I focused on quarters for several weeks. Then I progressed to dollars to $100 to $1000 to $10K to $50K. Overall it took less than a year to go from manifesting pennies to manifesting $50K. After that point I become more interested in non-monetary manifesting and had some especially fun times with manifesting in my social life — friends, mentors, and other yumminess. In fact, I honestly feel that manifesting money is a bit boring compared to all the other cool stuff you can manifest. It’s like playing a video game and obsessing over the score. That can be fun for a while, but eventually you want to focus on more interesting aspects of the game world.
<>Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and share your experience with me. You are certainly on the right track with what you are doing, and you are certainly lining yourself up for an amazing relationship. That is where a lot of people struggle with LOA in general, and relationships in particular–it can be really hard to feel okay with how things are now when we want them to be different. Feeling okay with being single and feeling that fulfillment with life in the absence of that other person can be a challenge, but it is necessary to let in a GOOD relationship.
<>Emotional Charge: Emotionalize that goal (why do you want it, how will it change your life, in what ways will it bring you happiness, etc.). The idea is to increase and amplify the desire for it from a place of the heart. This powerfully imprints the vibration of your goal into your subconscious mind as you take inspired action towards what you want to achieve.
<>We already know that the Law of Attraction can be used effectively… and the positive impact that embracing the law and replacing all negative emotions with positive mind-affirmations can have on what you see in your life. However, there are several common traps that people can fall into when they are trying to apply the rules of attraction to their love lives.
<>read yr’s and jasons comments on phil’s. I believe in law of attraction because I have experienced it many a times, even the most impossible things have happened. But only in one matter, I have been trying for last 9 months. i know the person will come back to me, but 1 week i will be positive then my faith is wavering and my mind puts up so many logics and obvious reasons how it cannot happen (and believe me all my fears are also coming true) I am totally confused and dejected. pl. do guide me to overcome my fear and panic and believe and just let go
<>“Various people told me they had a feeling I was going to meet my life partner – but it had been such a long time alone and I wasn’t so sure. Your workshop and my commitment to the practices such as Appreciation and the incredible Focusing Process got me to start enjoying what I already had and feel a little more optimistic. My life was going by and I was missing out because of my obsession with this one thing being ‘missing’. And so I decided to more involve myself in my career and redecorate my home. I also joined a gym and several social groups – something which was alien to me. As a result, I simply didn’t have time to be lonely. And then, just as they say ‘when you’re not looking for it’, I met my partner through one of the groups! What I really like about The Law of Attraction Centre is that it genuinely does change people’s lives rather than making false promises. It’s reassuring to know that you are teaching what works… I now live in Paris in what is considered to be the ‘best’ part: this is what I used to dream about when I was younger. I look forward to visiting and seeing everyone again at the groups this Summer. My partner is ‘into’ Law of Attraction too, of course, so perhaps I will bring him along.”
<>“I was looking for a relationship and when I came to your group I realised that was my problem- I was looking too much, and all the time. It was a tiring process and I had done all of the dating sites and just met with disappointment. I could never square the advice I had been given- on the one hand I needed to create vision boards and focus on love or do actions, and on the other hand I needed to let it go because ‘you find love when you’re not looking for it’. The problem was I couldn’t stop looking no matter how much I tried. I realised I needed a hobby to replace my current hobby- looking for love- which wasn’t helping me find love and also wasn’t making me feel happy. So I put it all on the Universe List and joined a local political group of all things. Although I had read in certain spiritual books that politics could be ‘negative’, it felt good to me, and it was my guidance so I followed it. At first shy, I got my confidence up and began to speak to small groups of people. I became passionate about my local community. And then I met my ‘one’ as I now call him, through the organisation. The thing is I didn’t join the group to meet a man- and that seems to me a major point- I just followed my inner nudge to do something that I enjoyed and there he was.”
<>2) Visualising and meditating is pointless without work. Mark Cuban says a famous quote which is: "Work like there is someone working 24 hours a day to take it away from you". Me getting my goals is a 2 part process. 1) Meditating and visualising and 2) working incredibly hard. Both go hand in hand, if you do one without the other, you will not (according to my experiencing) manifest it into reality. The reason is because simply meditating on something is wishing, which is not the same as visualising and working.
<>When you get into these feelings now, you will make the very helpful realization money is not the end all be all to your happiness—sure, it gives us more options and more freedom, and it surely can reduce stress.  But as the ultimate key to happiness, no way. Nothing outside of us, including money, can ever make us truly happy.  When I went from that dire money situation to being flush with cash, my stress alleviated considerably, and I did feel a hell of a lot better. But, if I had to assess its impact on my level of true happiness, it really didn’t do much for that.
<>The point is, you can go through any personal development program in history. Any of the great books “The Secret” and “Think and Grow Rich”. An Anthony Robbins program. The real masters all understand the same secret. It’s not just the tools and techniques that make a difference. It’s showing people how to open a channel to abundance that really counts.
<>First, lots of people mistakenly focus just on their thoughts, all the while feeling like crap, and then get disappointed when they don’t seem to be making any progress. While thoughts are certainly an important part of the equation, we attract based on what we feel, and if we don’t feel good, all the affirmations and happy thoughts in the world won’t do jack unless we manage to build some momentum on the level of emotion.
<>It may sound silly to do this as an adult, but it’s a game worth playing. When you’re out with friends sometime, have a contest to see who can manifest the most money. You may not get too excited about finding coins, but you may generate some excitement about trying to best your friends in a silly contest. That silliness will actually help you get the right vibe, thereby improving your ability to manifest money.
<>1) I have had a rather bad break-up with my boyfriend. All in all, he wants to move on completely and says that while he loved me and cared about me at the time of the break-up he simply wasn’t happy anymore and wants to move on to a new city, life etc… We have so financial dealings together but he says he no longer wants to worry about it because keeping in touch about cash isn’t healthy and we both need to move on. He has made it clear that there is no way he would get back into a relationship with me. And of course, after being told this I wrote him an angry email giving him a piece of my mind. While I love him more than life itself and visualize us being together again I must say that I find it very difficult to imagine us together, based on the way he seems to feel (or not feel…) about me. How do I let go of thinking of the outcome when all I can do is think about him and that perhaps he will meet someone else soon, or already has etc….

<>You don’t have to go out on dates with people you’re not interested in, nor try to do something that goes against your own values. Notice what things or people you are consciously or unconsciously drawn to.  You might be lead into amazing, rewarding, or at the very least a growing experience! Be willing to trust that inner voice and be open to the mystery that comes from there.
<>Step 1: Essentially, you need to make the decision that you really want to attract this life partner. Then, truly commit to the idea of spending the rest of your life with this person. Making this commitment may involve processing old wounds (e.g. via journaling or therapy). Hopefully, the past can be left behind and you can opt to embrace hope instead of fear.
