<>“My life has changed as far as content but it’s not that I’m really paying attention too… It’s the way I feel that I’m most impressed with. The ‘angst’ I had has gone and I’m enjoying my life and feeling a real self-confidence. One funny thing that happened last week: I had been watching a TV programme and the next night the time of the live results show (which I wasn’t watching) a contestant’s name came into my mind and I just knew this person had been voted off- even though it made no logical sense, as she was a favourite to stay in the running. That quality of feeling is always accurate- it’s not from my thinking mind but from somewhere beyond. When I looked online I saw that I was right- my ‘inner voice’ was confirmed again. Your teachings get me in touch with this knowing.”
<>We already know that the Law of Attraction can be used effectively… and the positive impact that embracing the law and replacing all negative emotions with positive mind-affirmations can have on what you see in your life. However, there are several common traps that people can fall into when they are trying to apply the rules of attraction to their love lives.
<>But the one who really first articulated the Law as general principle was Prentice Mulford. Mulford, a pivotal figure in the development of New Thought thinking, discusses the Law of Attraction at length in, for example, his essay "The Law of Success",[15] published 1886-1887. In this, Mulford was followed by other New Thought authors, such as Henry Wood (starting with his God’s Image in Man,[16] 1892), and Ralph Waldo Trine (starting with his first book, What All the World's A-Seeking,[17] 1896). For these authors, the Law of Attraction is concerned not only about health but every aspect of life.[18][19]
<>When it comes to interest in law of attraction, I would have to say the two things people are most trying to get is love or money, perhaps both at the same time. Relationships can be a tricky area of manifestation, not because it is inherently harder to attract them than other things, but because of all the ‘stuff’ we have built up over the years that lays heavy in our vibration. We have all sorts of beliefs that tell us we aren’t good enough. Our past failed romantic endeavors are etched into our minds, and we are convinced we can’t experience anything different. We worry we will never meet someone, or that we will have to settle for less than what we want.We stay in relationships that we know aren’t right for fear we won’t find something better.
<>This freaks people out because they believe feeling happier now as a single person will cancel their 'order' with the Universe for a relationship. But don't worry... it doesn't work like that. Wanting and needing something to happen is not what brings it to you... trust me. Feeling the feelings that lie behind what you want now, and detaching from the idea this thing needs to happen for you to be happy, is what does -- much more quickly and easily.
<>Learning how to connect with yourself has a lot to do with tuning into your own need. Consequently, then meeting those needs. When you make a habit of this, you’re much more able to attract love with someone who will nurture you. One way to ensure you take better care of yourself while you’re looking for love is to set aside an hour a day where you commit to pursuing a hobby you love! This should be no matter what other, more “productive” things you could be doing.
