<>“I love the synchronicities of life: I went into the Disney Store to exchange an unwanted gift. When I looked down at the receipt it had Cast Member: (and then my name). I loved this little touch of writing ‘Cast member’ instead of cashier- and how funny that the cashier had the same name as me! On my exchange receipt- it had the name of an ex-partner of mine- which is a very unusual name. It was the first time I had thought of him for a long time. The next day, after four years, he contacted me. He was in London and wanted to meet up.”
<>It is okay if you don’t have any idea what this person looks like or what type of person he would be exactly. Just imagine yourself in an interaction where things are just ‘easy’ and flowing well. No drama. Just sitting around, spending time together. Imagine yourself taking part in your favorite activities with this other person. Envision a conversation where you are talking about the topics of most interest to you.
<>“Michael is right about the processes- you have to do them for them to work! It sounded too-good-to-be-true when I heard people’s stories in the group… I just didn’t believe what I was hearing. Finally, after hearing Michael encouraging us to do the processes again I felt I had nothing to lose- ‘My way’ wasn’t working and, if I’m honest, had never worked. Within just over a month I got the girl, the job, the money and the riverside apartment of my dreams in London. I got so busy with international travel that I can hardly make the groups now- but here is my success story to others who may be inspired by it.”
<>The process of attraction happens at the level of what we feel and believe, and when you don’t set standards and boundaries, this shows you don’t feel very good about yourself, and that you have a lot of crappy beliefs that essentially amount to not feeling good enough, and not being deserving of the best life has to offer. These types of beliefs can mess with various aspects of our life, but can be particularly problematic in the love department. And guess what types of people and situations we attract when we feel this way? Shitty, shitty, shitty ones.
<>Love may not necessarily always happen by accident. By using the Law of Attraction and relationships, you can find the love you want, regardless of what people think about factors such as decisions, events, and thinking of individuals. Law of attraction for love works on the basis of what you are thinking about the relationship with a particular person. The Law of Attraction is basically a system that believes that encouraging positive thoughts can lead to positive results. The whole concept of law of relationship and love attracts energy. When the energy is positive, it tends to bring in positive results.
<>My life transformed in the space of a few months purely through visualising what I wanted and FEELING what it would be like to have it. I’m not saying I have it all, far from it and I still have days where I lose hope, but I would say the most important thing when you’re feeling down is to simply try and raise yourself to a slightly better feeling. Keep doing that, until you’re in a place to start imagining what you want… the rest is written in the stars! If you are struggling to find a happier place, a quick and effective way to do it is be grateful. Think of all you are grateful of and it will undoubtedly lift you up.
<>There is a process to it too. What really happens (this is my own break down of the law) is that once we focus on something we want; our mind starts to calculate how to get that desire met. Then we start to put those thoughts into actions, resulting in us achieving what we want without consciously calculating how to do it. When we couple our desires with conscious and strategic planning, we can achieve almost anything.
<>“I wanted to write in and thank you and share a testimonial about your work that may help others: I had tried it all- online dating, offline dating, blind dates- you name it. After doing your workshop about love a few years ago I realised that I was trying too hard to ‘make it happen’ out of fear that if I didn’t do anything, nothing would happen. But nothing was happening even with all my work- worse than nothing actually- a lot of pain and disappointment. The more I dated the more doubtful I became that I’d ever meet ‘the one’. So I threw myself into my work, writing every day on the Universe List to ‘Bring me my husband in the perfect time’ and ‘bring me more interests’. I also started doing a daily appreciation list and got involved in some new projects to distract me from my dating obsession.
<>Another thing about feelings—get yourself out of situations that don’t feel like what you want. You don’t have to compromise or settle. You don’t have to experience a bunch of stuff that feels badly to also experience that which feels good. As you shore up your good energy, and stick to your standards and boundaries, these types of situations will naturally decrease, and at some point, move out of your experience completely.
<>i have been trying to use law of attraction for some time now, specially when it comes to love because there is one specific person that i am in love. but somehow i am doing something wrong because things don’t manifest the way want… i don’t know what i’m doing wrong. i don’t know if it’s my energy that is negative, if it’s me that is not believing enough, if it’s the way i vizualise things… i even made a visualization board, i write and think about the things that i feel grateful for, every night i imagine myself with that person and that person feeling the same way for me as i do for him but it doesn’t seem to be working… this law of attraction process is very hard, how do i know what i’m doing wrong?
<>Jim Carey is infamous now for having done this specific thing in his life. In 1985 through 87, Carrey would drive up onto Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, looking at houses, and he would imagine all of these things in his. He would imagine the big house, the cars, respect from directors, more opportunities than he knew what to do with, and so on. Keep in mind, at the time he was flat broke.
<>Thank you so much for such long reply! The more I’m working on myself with LOA, somehow the more my feelings are changing. Deep down, I know there will be more chances for me out there and therefore, I will meet the love of my life but my brain tells me that I shouldn’t have done that. Feels like my heart and my brain are in different places. Sometimes it’s quite the challenge. But I learned that I need to care for myself first and foremost!
<>Let’s say you want to make an extra $50,000.00, $100,000.00, or even $1 million dollars more. Or let’s say that you want to release the weight that you don’t want on your body. Or let’s say that you want to find a soul mate that you’re not with right now. It’s not enough just to have the idea, desire or the goal. It’s not enough just to write it down. It’s not enough to have a vision board or to talk about it. What you have to understand is you have to get the conscious mind and the subconscious mind to line up in harmony with each other to create synchronicity and you have to impress it over and over again into the emotional subconscious mind so coherence is created between the two part of your brain.
<>“I had got to the point when I thought all of this Law of Attraction stuff was rubbish, nothing good was manifesting… And then I discovered your work about three years ago- and I keep coming back to it. I have ‘streamlined’ most of my self-help books- because I just don’t need them anymore- your work has summarised the best of everything I ever read. I feel a lot more confident and freer about myself since doing the practices- friends have commented on how much more attractive I look and I feel like I’m living the life I always dreamed of living in my twenties now; twenty years later. More travel, more fun, feeling happy to be alive- it’s like a new life. I also would call myself a confident person now whereas before I was shy- for thirty years. I had resigned myself that this couldn’t change as it seemed so much a part of me- but it did change. What I love about your techniques is they put you into the position to attract whatever you need, so some ‘confidence building’ opportunities came after I had done a Universe List. Anyway- lots to share. See you at the group sometime.”
<>For example, if you want a serious relationship, yet you invest time in transient relationships, you won't get what you actually want. Reality will give you transient relationships, or experiences, because that's the situation you're "in tune with", i.e. matching with, spending your attention on. Your "relationship space" will be occupied by transient relationships, instead of a serious one, which will not have the opportunity to manifest.
<>“Since following your teachings I haven’t got colds which is strange- as soon as winter started I used to feel run down… And now I’m energised. My love relationships also improved early on- and I’m now engaged to be married next summer. After a long time struggling with what to do for my life purpose, I am currently retraining to be a teacher and am enjoying every moment of it. The Focusing Process has definitely changed my life.”
<>In the New Thought philosophy, the Law of Attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, people can bring positive or negative experiences into their life.[1][2] The belief is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from pure energy, and that through the process of like energy attracting like energy a person can improve their own health, wealth, and personal relationships.
<>And, just as an important side note: Your subconscious is way, way more powerful than you possibly give it credit for. Most people don’t realize this fact. Your subconscious knows exactly what you’re going to do. It’s infinitely more aware of what’s happening in the universe than your conscious mind. It simply won’t be bullied. It’s happy for you to tell it what to do, once you master the process of doing so.
<>Hey Phil, my friend Claire sent this over after seeing me last night for the first time in months. I have been obsessively working on a project / startup to use rock climbing and adventure to help at-risk kids in the slums of Brazil. Check out our video if you are interested (www.indiegogo.com/adventureforgood) but that project is really not the focus. What I found is that although I love what I am doing and believe in it completely, I have been stressed out of my mind and without realizing it, I have been manifesting this stress into all aspects of my life and sometimes into the energy of my campaign. Reading your blog I was reminded of how important it is to manifest not only what you want but also how you want to feel. That energy is so important and certainly dictates how people feel around you. I have been bringing my computer to bed and stressing out over emails until I fall asleep… NOT healthy. This post really helped me reflect on practicing not only the law of attraction but the law of ‘feeling good’. Hope to bump into you around Boulder Phil.
<>Our relationship with money is quite the interesting one, and attracting it is like attracting anything else in our lives, but we have so much ‘stuff’ around it that it seems more difficult. I am always open to more, but as time has gone on and I have seen life from both a place of financial struggle and one where things were much more abundant, it became clear to me that the happiness level really isn’t affected as much. Less stress, sure..but that is not the same as feeling truly happy. That is a great perspective you had on your money situation and is likely a key factor in your success. It is easy to get a bit panicked and impatient with the online bit when that money isn’t coming as fast as we would like it to, or in the amounts we would hope. That is an amazing story about your mom, and like you said, never would have seen that as a source of money if you had to guess. I am so glad you shared that story because the more people read about these types of incidents, the more faith they build that this can happen for them too!
<>Emmet Fox wrote about metaphysics and the power of prayer in essays and books. His teachings are founded in Christianity and bible stories. He cites Jesus Christ as being the greatest teacher of metaphysics who ever lived and explains that thoughts are our most important emanation, more important than what we say or what we do. In the books Power Through Constructive Thinking and Find and Use your Inner Power Fox speaks about "building the mental equivalent of what you want and to expunge those that you don't".
<>Skeptical Inquirer magazine criticized the lack of falsifiability and testability of these claims.[47] Critics have asserted that the evidence provided is usually anecdotal and that, because of the self-selecting nature of the positive reports, as well as the subjective nature of any results, these reports are susceptible to confirmation bias and selection bias.[48] Physicist Ali Alousi, for instance, criticized it as unmeasurable and questioned the likelihood that thoughts can affect anything outside the head.[1]
<>Here’s the thing: you can only attract that to which you are a match, and if you are hiding who you really are, or are trying to construct some ‘perfect’ version of yourself you believe makes you more attractive as a potential mate, you will only attract other people who are putting up these same facades. You will never make any true connections—you’re being inauthentic and everyone you meet is being inauthentic, and eventually it will all come to the surface in some way. One of the reasons people struggle to meet the right person is because everyone is just walking around, faking it.
<>Great article, it’s so encouraging to see others having success using the LOA. It’s totally changed my life in the past 4 years. It took me from a single mom with not a penny to my name, to living my dream life, manifesting 2 vision boards. It’s a total life changer. I have lots of proof on my blog where i’ve posted each step of my journey. Keep up the good work!
<>When things aren’t going well, the Law of Attraction is something that should be paid attention to because you attract to you energies that are a reflection of what’s going on inside you. To be more specific, what’s going on outside is actually a barometer for how things are on the inside. This is the best time to focus in on what you are attracting to you as a pattern and create a pattern interrupt.
<>The first time I seriously started working with LOA on a consistent basis was during a time of severe financial strain, so I know what it is like to really feel the pressure of lack of money.  I went from literally living off credit cards to attracting three lucrative freelance writing jobs all in the same week, which led to me making more money than I ever had, so I have seen firsthand what is possible when we can get our mind right.
<>2) I was told by some people who also follow the LOA methods that manifesting someone specific was not advisable because it was going against the wishes of that said person if that’s not what they wanted anymore. He’s made it very clear that it is not what he wants at all. Am I wrong for wanting the love of my life back and just be given a genuine chance to see if things could work again?
<>When we are really longing for a relationship, it is easy to let standards and boundaries go out the window. If you are looking for a guy, you may be willing to give anyone that floats into your orbit a chance.  Now, I am not saying not to be open to different people, because I think that is a good idea. Sometimes we can get too specific with the type of person we want to meet, and close off potential matches. Sometimes, what we think we want in a person is really something different, or not as important as we deem it now.
<>With all of this differentiation comes a wide-ranging approach to one common theme that binds us all: money. Money, in fact, is simply a story. It’s the most successful story that humanity has ever created. Beyond the invention of language, which enabled communication, money has enabled commerce, and has moved us beyond merely bartering for, and exchanging goods and services as we once solely did ages ago.
<>“It’s been a year since I met my soul mate- and it just gets better and better. It all began when I came along to the groups and managed to distract myself so much with the good in my life (through daily appreciation and meditation) that I literally bumped into him in the street. It seems the phrase ‘you find love when you are not looking for it’ may be true. Yes, I wanted to meet someone but it seems that when I dropped my obsession, I met him.”
<>One reason she was bad at this game was that she was tuning out the possible existence of coins everywhere she walked. She just didn’t think there could be that many coins hiding in plain sight. By demonstrating to her that the coins were indeed there and that she was simply failing to notice them, I helped shift her beliefs. She stopped thinking of the game as something outside her control (relying on luck or chance), and she began thinking of what she could control (her open-mindedness and attentiveness).
<>Loved your kindle book! It’s given me hope and most importantly a sense of serenity which I haven’t had since my breakup I’m afraid. Moving on is never as easy as one thinks. People tell you to go out with friends, have fun etc…But how does one go out and “have fun” when all restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs or car radios play music and music is the last thing you even want to listen to when your heart is breaking in a million pieces. So that alone, prevents one from moving on peacefully. But your book…I don’t know, just gives one hope. It is easier (at least for me) to “let go” knowing that getting back with the love of my life is possible. Frankly, moving on with hope, regardless of the result, is so much healthier than without it. So for that alone thanks! Now my question :))… I haven’t see my ex for the past two months. He’s very very reluctant to speak to me, and the very limited email exchanges we have had since the breakup have been cold (on his end) at best, though he does reply everytime. I know he is hurt and dealing with it in his won male way I guess…We are thousands of miles away from each other and I want to manfiest spending christmas together. Is is advisable to manifest a certain date? Does that give it more power, or takes away from manifestation? I dont’ want to be obsessive about it, I want to be easy about it, but I must say that this Xmas was supposed to be special for us and I would love for that to be the case eventough it is around the corner. It just seems that manifesting an ex back is almost more difficult than manifesting a specific person you know but have never had a relationship with…Probably because of all the baggage and history. So anyway I just wanted to know if a specific date is ok? Thank you so much :))
<>You are one of a kind and you have a unique spiritual fingerprint. A unique abundance DNA. The universe just wants you to recognize and own your uniqueness. Then you can have anything you want because you’ll stop doing things the way you think you should. You’ll know without blinking that you’re the best in the world at being you. And that’s more than enough to attract an extraordinary and abundant life for you and for those you love.
<>Thanks so much for sharing your story. I felt the same way when I first heard about LOA but then I looked at my life and could clearly see how it had negatively affected my life automatically (I thought I was broke, I acted like I was broke, and I was broke). So I figured I had nothing to lose! 4 years later it’s TOTALLY transformed my life and I’ve manifested 2 vision boards and a brand new life. IT WORKS!
<>When you understand the answers to these types of questions about manifesting your soulmate, your mind and heart begin to focus on trying to find love that is based on true mutual understanding and excitement. You can do all kinds of creative techniques to bolster the designing of your life partner. For example, Law of Attraction experts recommend daily visualization exercises in which you conjure up a vivid sense of what your life partner would be like. Meanwhile, you can also create a dream board that represents all the traits you’re looking for and your image of how this relationship will improve your life.
