This post is part of a series by Shelly Bullard — a primer on raising your vibration and attracting your soul mate. For the next five days, we’ll post one article offering the foundational elements you need to go deeper in the search for self love, and the love of your life. When you’re ready to take the next step, check out Shelly’s course: How To Attract A Partner Who’s Ready For Deep, Devoted Love.
You have no idea the million different ways you can meet someone. Sure, it may be through the typical avenues, like a mutual friend or a blind date. Or, it could happen in the most unexpected, and craziest of ways—the type of situation that makes a great ‘how we met’ story. So, do your best to stop trying to figure out how you would meet this person. Don’t look at the current framework of your life as some sort of filter through which you sift possibilities.
One way to attract positive thoughts, experiences and situations in your life is to create a manifestation scrapbook. Fill the pages with affirmations and clippings of pictures that depict the things that you wish to materialize in life. Spend about a week creating the various pages in the book and review the book on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on personal goals. People do not need to know about your manifestation book in order for interesting and surprising positive events to come into your life.

Step 4 is important for two reasons. The first is that it aligns you with your desires. The entire concept behind the Law of Attraction is that like attracts like. When you take action as if you’ve already gotten what you desire, you are sending a huge, loud and clear message to the universe that you’re serious. Actions speak louder than words, right?
However, knowing that others have been – and still are – able to make the law of attraction work for them can be a strong motivator: it strengthens our belief  and keeps us focused on what we want to attract. That’s why we have this section dedicated to the LoA success stories – read them, watch the videos, and come back to them any time you feel the need for a morale boost.
“After 10 years of struggle to find my right work environment I attended a ‘Law of Attraction’ workshop 6 months ago. Since practicing the recommended techniques I have found a job that I really love and enjoy. Through the workshop I also let go of a relationship that I again was finding a struggle and 3 weeks later I unexpectedly met someone else who is much easier to get along with, much more fun and more gorgeous! Through daily appreciation, meditation and the workshops I’ve at last begun to find calm and happiness that is now spreading across all areas of my life. Thank you very much Law of Attraction!”
While it might sound strange at first, you’ll be better at using the Law of Attraction for money and wealth if you connect with the smell of money. When you do this, you align your own vibration with wealth and abundance. As you do this, imagine yourself as having all the wealth you need. Don’t think about why you want money, or how you wish you had more money. Let your brain believe you are fully abundant, right now.
A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life.”
In July 2015 I started doing 28 Magical Practices under the guidance of Awesome AJ but couldn’t complete it. I again started 28 Magical Practices in February 2016 and this time I was able to complete it but I was not fully committed to it. During the same time, I was going through a very tough time personally and professionally. Slowly negative thoughts started taking control of my mind and as a result, everything happened to me that I never wanted or feared for. During that time I lost a very important person in my life, I felt like a vacuum in my life and went into a shell and stopped interacting with friends or family members. I was only talking to myself and nothing of that talk was positive. I had a huge financial setback people whom I trusted and supported left me in a huge financial debt.
I sell cheap gemstone beads, and they’re always problematic (quality) and a lot of work. I’m sitting on my porch thinking, “I want to go high end.” But I don’t have the money to buy expensive beads. Two weeks later a former customer emails asking if I want to go into business with him selling salt products. I used to run a warehouse and hated it, so I told him no, but you can invest in my business. He eventually invests $10K, and I buy high end beads.
“It’s been a year since I met my soul mate- and it just gets better and better. It all began when I came along to the groups and managed to distract myself so much with the good in my life (through daily appreciation and meditation) that I literally bumped into him in the street. It seems the phrase ‘you find love when you are not looking for it’ may be true. Yes, I wanted to meet someone but it seems that when I dropped my obsession, I met him.”
Hi Elizabeth..AJ here again…I bought your book last night and read it in one setting! Good stuff! I will be reading it again today so I can start the work properly and really soak it all in. I have a question…my guy and I haven’t talked to each other for 2 weeks. But we are both still on the dating site we meet on few months ago. I know I am doing no contact, but with him still being able to see me and I being able to see him…does that kill the mystery of him missing me and will it hinder me from fully letting go? I am just trying to stay open and not block anyone that maybe better…even though I want the chance to see where things can go with him with the proper realignment. I just want to open the gate to draw him in and others, to go with what’s best for me. Thanks in advance!
“I was in a rush, running down a hill when I heard someone back up at the top of the hill calling after me. I ran back to the top and the woman smiled and said ‘you dropped money’ and handed me a £20 note, which I had no idea I had dropped. This area hasn’t got the best reputation so it was doubly amazing that this happened. I do have the belief that things are always returned to me- and this was yet more evidence of how loved I am by the Universe. I am finding since doing your processes I get ‘back in the saddle’ much quicker than I used to if something uncomfortable happens; I tend to dwell on unhappy things less and certainly like my life more.”

The other day was particularly special. I meditated and I then went to view a property. The property needed some work doing on it and I had some questions about that and next thing I knew I was talking to a builder who ‘just happened’ to be next door who could answer all of my questions. Then a lady came out of a neighbouring property and asked if I would like to look at her house. The neighbour was really friendly and welcoming and said that that she would love it if I moved next door! After viewing the property I went to pick my son up and looked into the sky and felt blown away by the beautiful sunset. I feel I have direction, that my soul is joyful and that doors are open for me.”
I would love to express my fascination and gratitude toward your works , as have been practicing the law of attraction and spirituality for around a year from now …lately i traveled to UK to finish my masters in supply chain and logistics . I am only here for a month and already realized that my mind could be very creative when it comes to business…
I’d had a dream for 10 years to move to Mexico when I retired. But all outward circumstances looked like it was out of the question. Loads of credit card debt, and I owned several homes that were “underwater” - their market value was less than what I owed on the mortgages. This was in the 2008–2009 timeframe, when the US housing market was at its worst in decades.
Step 1: Essentially, you need to make the decision that you really want to attract this life partner. Then, truly commit to the idea of spending the rest of your life with this person. Making this commitment may involve processing old wounds (e.g. via journaling or therapy). Hopefully, the past can be left behind and you can opt to embrace hope instead of fear.
